Dr. Anju Varghese, MD

Dr Varghese is excellent!! I have been bringing my dad to her for almost a year now. She is extremely thorough, and her professional expertise has brought my dad tremendous physical relief! She has been walking with us so kindly and patiently over this past year; it has truly been a blessing! Her office staff (Christina in particular) is always very kind and accommodating in scheduling appointments and refilling medications. We are so grateful to have found Dr Anju and would highly recommend her!!

Dr, Anju Varghese flip flops on diagnosis, and cannot provide clear evidence- based information to the patient when asked. Instead, she reacts hostile and indignant, and uses her â??MDâ?? title as the shield of authority and knowledge. I wish I checked out healthgrades.com before scheduling to see this doctor because her level of care and expertise is rated below the national average for someone specializing in her field. As someone with three master degrees, I implore that Anju Varghese take coursework study on current developments happening in the field of rheumatology so she can provide her patients with decisive evidence base diagnosis when they ask for it. No one should have to pay for a doctor visits and leave without conclusive information. In fact, the only advice she gave me was to go to another doctor to make the determination of my illness because she couldnâ??t. Albeit, Ms. Varghese, you will most certainly ensure payment from my insurance company for your â??MDâ??… entitlement.

LOOK ELSEWHERE! A very BAD Rheumatologist! She Won't return phone calls and yells at you when you ask her questions than wants you to come into the office for no reason to milk the insurance company....Beware for your sake, really go somewhere else!

Dr Anju is an excellent doctor. I have been seeing her for the past 3 years. She follows me closly ordering my labs and follow up and make recommendations regarding abnormal labs and my symptoms. Dr Anju takes her time in examining me, she listens to my concerns and provides feedback. Dr Anju is a competent doctor that listens to her patients.

This doctor is the best in town. I was referred to her by my friend who talks very highly about her as well. She found my problem pretty much instantly and I am so happy that I feel lot better.

This doctor pretty much also looked at me and said that my pain was all up in my head! Although I present with a very difficult diagnosis, that also takes a mountain of time to conclude to, her bedside mannor was so insulting that I could not and would not allow myself to sit there and be made to feel even worse mentally than I was already feeling physically. The fact that you never really have to wait long in her waiting room may be because she may not have a lot of patients that come back. My experience was so bad that I actually waited over a year to readdress my issues, but now definitely with a different, more respected rheumatologist.

I am very disappointed by seeing a bad review about his doctor; obviously that person must be talking about some other doctor because I have been seeing this wonderful rheumatologist since she started practice in Rockland county about 4 years ago and she is a gift to me from heaven. Since I am under her care, I am 100 times better than I was four years ago,etc. Always available, the staf is also very helpful and get me appointment whenever I needed. I would recomment this doctor to anyone without even thinking for a second!

Overall experience excellent. She focused in on my problem very quickly and physical exam related to my issue was good.Follow-up testing is needed before further treatment can be recommended.Would recommend Dr. Varghese to anyone in need of a rheumatologist.

Very knowledgable Doctor. she spent quite a bit of time with me and listened to every progbles I had, etc. which usually rare these days. courteous staff.
