Dr. Arlene Abilo Hallegado, MD

I love Dr. Hallegado! She was the first one in a very long time who cared enough to actually help me address my issues, and I had quite a few of them. She genuinely cares and it shows. she has never rushed through an appointment either. The care she has given to me at every single appointment I know she gives to every other patient she sees. Her assist Sheylak matches Dr. Hallegado's care and compassion for every patient. She compliments Dr. Hallegado like no one else can when it comes to your medical team. I wish I could see them both for every issue.

I love Dr HALLEGADO she genuinely cares for her Patients takes her time goes over everything thoroughly with you and gives you great advice she talks to you helps you with problems and I love having her as my doctor

Dr. Hallagado is blunt and to the point but also truly cares about her patients. Its not easy to find a doctor who has the ability to listen to every thing you say and actually address each thing. She doesn't blow off your concerns and works hard to take care of her patients.

I have seen Dr. HALLEGADO three times after establishing care and I no longer trust her medical opinion. I have stage 3 CKD and she has now instructed me to take Motrin/Advil on two separate occasions even though my medical record clearly states that I can NOT take NSAIDS due to my kidney disease. She obviously has no idea about my medical record and I have reminded her that I’m not allowed to take NSAIDS. This is now a troubling and dangerous situation in my opinion and I will never agree to trust her with my medical care again. Taking NSAIDS can cause me to go into kidney failure and she clearly doesn’t understand the dangerous repercussions if I had taken her advice. I saw her today and she was 50 minutes late for my appointment and came enter the room and started pushing on my sinuses without washing her hands and she didn’t even use Purel. When she told me to take 1000mg of Motrin every six hours I reiterated that I can not take NSAIDS and she just looked at me. I will be… requesting a new doctor on Monday and also plan to express my concerns with the lead physician.

She took over my previous doctor's patient load - so in short I did not choose her. I saw her for an annual physical and to get some questions and concerns addressed as my husband and I are looking to start our family. First she tried to talk me out of doing my physical. Then she refused to listen to any of the concerns I had about going off my birth control. She tried to prescribe a daily medicine for migraines when I only experience them on occasion. She completely ignored my husband and when he asked her a question she acted like he wasn't even there. And to top it all off all she could and would talk to me about was my weight using ONLY the BMI index to gage my health, which goes against the American Medical Associations (among others) current guidelines of use of the BMI. When I brought this up she only argued with me about it. On top of all this she never called in my prescriptions or followed up with me on my test results. I had to track it all down. WORST DOCTOR and I highly… recommend not going to her. She was rude, disinterested, disregarding, and negligent.

When i walked into dr.hallegado's office, i immedeatly was seated in a comfy chair to wait. the waiting time was about 16 minutes but, there are plenty of mgazines to keep yourself occupied. the staff was great and showed all respect for the patients. exam rooms were perfect, had clean chairs, sinks and exam tables.the actual place was in an ok location and the inside , very safe- easy to navigate there were no obsticles at all! about 72 degrees ferinheight too! dr. arelene hallegado was a dear, i feel that she really tried her best to listen to me and find the best medicine to cure me. i came to her with a fever- within 1-2 day the fever vanished! i feel very good about having dr. hallegado as my doctor. i'm sure she will take her time with me and with all her patiens. she is nothing like my prevoius doctors- she is hands down the best! my visit did not feel like a doctors visit at all more like a trip to a friends house. i will definatly come back the next time i have a problem, i… look forward to seeing dr. hallegado again.
