Dr. Arthur Constantine Tutela II, MD

I never had an issue with my care, but I have since moved to Michigan. I called because the Ophthalmology office I will begin utilizing asked me to obtain and bring a copy of my old records, only to find out that they charge $10 to fax you your records, plus $1 per page. The office staff let me know that "Doctor to Doctor" they can send for free, but if a patient wants their own records they are charged. This is very upsetting and the office and Doctor allowing this should be ashamed of themselves. I'll guess I'll be arriving to my new physician without my old records, hopefully they'll be able to obtain them easily. HORRIBLE.

The staff is very professional and experienced. Their Covid Pandemic prevention protocol is commendable (the assistant recommended that I stay in the vehicle and wait to be called, which I found to be better than waiting in the hallway, another option); although some clients could do well to keep their voices down, while wearing their masks in the waiting area. There was a slight IT hitch as the tests results could not load, but Dr. Tutela was able to work around it and advise me on what to do and when he would like to see me again. Overall, a good consult for a day before New Year's.

Dr. Tutela and his staff are always competent and pleasant . The doctor gave me the laser treatments I needed after I detected floaters in my vision, and my eye pressure is now at a healthy level again. He patiently answers any questions I have. I don't mind traveling from Morris county to his office. The care and attentive service are worth it.

I have my entire family going to see this doctor. We all have different issues so my review is quite general but I trust his judgement thus far. He seems to enjoy the challenges of all the complex eye issues we present!

Dr Tutela is a very delightful and caring doctor. He is one of the kindest doctors I have ever encountered. I would recommend him to all my friends and family members.

The technician gave me the eye exam, Dr, Tutella doesnt do anything except talk to you/ My contacts were never ordered and i waited a month just to get trials and they were wrong. it was a real trial dealing with the staff in that office - they actually do all the work including exams even while he goes on VACATION they keep the office open and do exams. Not doctors but "technicians". horrible experience would never return, would not let him ever operate on me....RUN AWAY

I love Dr. Tutella! Been going to him for about 2 years (every 3-6 months) because I have Type 1 Diabetes and Hypothyroid disease. He is EXTREMELY thorough, knowledgeable, kind and professional. He answers questions and doesn't rush your appointment, yet he is still quick to get to all of his patients. The office staff is great too. I often have to bring my 2 year old with me and they always help to make sure he's entertained. :) Top Doctor!

Wonderful eye doc with excellent surgery skills and good bedside manner. I'm very please with him.
