Dr. Atul Makarand Vaidya, MD

Dr. Vaidya was very personable and thorough. He took the time to listen and seemed to be very knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend him.

My husband saw Dr. Vaidya in the emergency room after complications and profuse bleeding for 12 hours. Dr. Vaidya was one of the most down to earth, personable and capable doctors I have ever met. After 2 emergency room doctors failed to stop the bleeding, Dr. Vaidya left the operating room to see my husband. Even though they were still waiting on him in the OR, he was completely focused on my husband, rummaging around the ER exam room for supplies (that were not there due to the New Year's rush), and could have been a nurse or a nurse aid, in just trying to get a job done. He was focused, and so very courteous to both of us and to the staff there. He immediately recognized what the problem was and corrected it within minutes. I was amazed at his competence and how personable and kind he was. Again, I have never in my life experienced such a sweet, competent physician.

I had a deviated septum, which had caused breathing through my nasal passages extremely difficult if not impossible at times. This had also caused sleep apnea as well as limiting my ability to smell. I had become narcoleptic. I would fall asleep while sitting at a stop light or whenever I was not constantly moving. Dr, Vaidya repaired my septum, removed my tonsils and lifted my uvula. The Dr. removed the tonsils and lifted the uvula in order to clear a better passage for breathing, which was worth it! I can now breathe through my nose; snoring has reduced greatly ( by approx. 70%), of which my wife and family enjoys; and now I sleep through the night. Being able to dream again was so vivid at first, it awakened me sometimes in the night, but now I can rest all night. I wake up in the mornings rested and ready to go. My sense of smell overwhelmed me at first. It was surprising how I had not noticed how my sense of smell had deminished until it was restored. Allergies can still… pose a problem at times, but I can take OTC meds that help when needed. Thank you Dr. Vaidya! I would highly recommend his talent, passion, skill and expertise to anyone,
