Dr. Avtar Singh Saran, MD

This doctor is a disgrace to the profession. He thinks all women are beneath him and should be subservient to him. Very rude and short with patients. Terrible bedside manner. This person has no business treating psych patients who need some compassion. Hard to beleive an organization like BayCare has someone like Dr. Saran on staff.

Reads what's written or told does not listen to patients or converses to diagnose or treat then dismiss , horrible experience medicate, medicate totally sucks very arrogant

This doctor should not be practicing he has no bedside manner seems to hate women. He is very rude and seems like he thinks women don’t hold the same standards as men.

This person is severely patriarchal and dismissive of women, and carries some very antiquated notions of how a normal woman should behave, and based on these attitudes, and is quick to medicalize any deviation from that submissive and defferant framework. Specifically, avoid this person if you're an intelligent, active, self-determining female. Things will not go well. I'm sorry for any woman who is his colleague; he is as rude and dismissive to them as he is to his female patients.
