I been going to Dr Barry for over 21 years he's the Best Doctor I know he very open and he will go far and beyond for his patient.... if your looking for a Doctor that really cares about his patient and also the staff....you shouldn't look no further

I have taken my child there several times. He has missdiagnosed him almost every time. Necessitating having a follow up visit at a hospital. I will never use him again or recommend him.

I have taken my two children to Dr. Barry for all of their lives, so I rushed my now 12-year-old to his office recently when she developed a stomach problem that for weeks, has kept her from eating without throwing up. Dr. Barry wrote a bunch of unexplained prescriptions, one for a hormones doctor who cannot resolve a vomiting problem. He also wrote a prescription for a three-day medication that was supposed to cure the vomiting. My pharmacist told me the medication was not readily available though, because Dr. Barry's staff failed to complete some necessary requirement. When I finally got the medication days later, it did not work! My daughter continued to throw up after she finished the last dose and returned to school! So I had to resume with keeping her out of school! On the day when we visited Dr. Barry, the one, crucial prescription that he did NOT write was for the Children's Hospital stomach doctor in Newark. My mom took off from work one day to bring my 12-year-old to that… doctor, since I had to work. But my 12-year-old was not seen, since she had no prescription from Dr. Barry! So my 12-year-old is still throwing up, sleeping for most of the day, and missing school! I had to return to Dr. Barry for the Children's Hospital prescription, and an excuse slip for misse school! My daughter has to return to Children's Hospital today, and then get an ultrasound at Montclair Radiology Center this evening. I had to find the radiology center on my own, since Dr. Barry recommended Clara Maass Medical Center, a center that does NOT accommodate working people, since ultrasounds only get scheduled for weekday mornings. Dr. Barry knows that I work for a living, but he referred me to places that do not have good office hours for daytime workers. Dr. Barry was a great pediatrian years ago, but I am now finding a new pediatrician, since he has become too relaxed and ineffective.

Dr Barry is a caring individual and he shows interest in his patient's life, always find the way to inspire his little patients. My children will be 20 years old this summer, and they refuse to see another Dr.

just go in and tell him what u think ur kid has and he wont even take the time and ask questions or check him/her out he just pulls out the rx pad and writes 1,000 scripts and wont even spend a good 10 minutes with you. he sucks!

SUX! NOT WORTH MY TIME JUST LIKE WE WERENT WORTH HIS!
