The Doctor is very nice unfortunate the staff he has is very unorganized and rude. Latoya and Justin were not helpful at all.my surgery had to be cancels twice because they refuse to tell you what your entire surgery will cost you. They make it seem like it’s only a 200 dollar copay then when you get to hospital surprise you have to pay 7,000 or you don’t get surgery and that is with having insurance. Save yourself some aggravation and use another practice. This Doctor would be more successful if he didn’t have them.

My outpatient surgery was excellent. I would highly recommend Dr. Zaragoza for his communication, surgical skills, and friendly and efficient staff. Thanks for a great experience

Dr. Zaragoza has performed two surgeries on me and he truly has a talent for his particular trade. Both times he remained professional, courteous, and kept me informed of what to expect, both pre-op and post op. went to Coral Springs Medical Center (worst hospital in broward). waited over 8 hours for an exam, with diverticulitis! finally got admitted, next day he comes into my room with at least 6 medical students. touches my extended abdomen and says "well, we are going to have to operate"!! i said no way, let's give the meds a try first. i was there like 10 hrs altogether and he marches in with all these people scaring the living crap out of me. the next day I was fine, the antibiotics worked. stomach back to normal and I went home! bills me $477 for the visit in the hospital, which i did NOT ask for, as i saw a different ER doc who admitted me. I refused to pay and they put me in collection which I still refused to pay which did affect my credit! I called office a few years later to settle the bill, as I was unaware that is was on my credit report, and they REFUSED to work with me!!!! money hungry bastards. i will let the debt which has been charged off, drop off in 2 years from my credit… report as i refuse to pay. what a nerve! all he did was touch my stomach for like 5 seconds and say surgery! and i did not request him! yes, terrible bedside manner too. never use him. no compassion at all.

The worst bedside manner from a doctor I have seen in years ( I am a retired surgical nurse) Actually discharged me from the hospital (appendectomy) with no nausea medication. Spend three days in pain since I could hold down the medication. Asked for me to follow up in 5 days following discharge...then their staff couldn't find me in their computer to make me an appointment. Could follow up until a week and a half after the surgery. Still had pain and nausea which he refused to address. Would NEVER recommend this doctor to anyone anytime. I wont even go back to Coral Springs Hospital again in fear I could get stuck with him again in an emergency situation. Holy Cross is worth the trip.
