Dr. Beth Ann Buscher, MD

I gave Dr. Buscher a second chance after a terrible first impression and it’s safe to say my first impression was accurate. Zero bedside manner, didn’t listen to me and my concerns and couldn’t get out of the exam room quick enough. Quick to just prescribe without even evaluating. I saw her for a bizarre skin rash/hives and both visits she never looked at my skin or the photos that I had taken of my hives. I sat in a paper robe undressed for her to walk in the room and immediately make assumptions and write up a prescription. As I tried asking questions about my skin and about the medication she was quick to turn to, she stood at the door with her hand on the door handle the entire time, couldn’t get out of the room fast enough. At my second appointment the experience was the same and she immediately prescribed me the same medication that had already failed me (hence being back to see her again) and not once looked at my skin. A dermatologist that doesn’t look at a patients skin!?

Not impressed at all with Dr. Buscher! Impersonal, detached, and I’m not even sure I got what I paid for!! I would not recommend Dr. Buscher to anyone. I’ve had great doctors and some less than acceptable but she really is at the bottom of the list! Unfortunately now I will be looking for a different dermatology group with higher standards of care. It is unfortunate how one bad experience can spread to the entire group! My previous experience over several years had been nothing but positive.. unfortunately nothing stays the same! Trust your instincts!

Waited over 2 months for an appointment only to show up to a clueless person saying my appointment was canceled. I rearranged my whole schedule for that appointment.

I've been waiting 12 days to have a message returned about a prescription and my skin condition.

I waited for 30 minutes in the main reception area and then another 20 minutes in the waiting room. I left before even being seen. Why bother making an appointment if you aren't seen until hours later? Total waste of time.

I had a persistent rash that I saw Dr. Buscher about. She asked a few questions, took a look, then quickly made a definitive determination, without taking a skin sample or suggesting blood be drawn to test for other things it "could" be. It turns out she was completely mistaken. This was actually something much more serious. As a result of her misdiagnosis, I needlessly paid for medications that didn't work and spent another 2 weeks with the rash. I went to another dermatologist who had an entirely different approach - thoughtful, deliberate, and interested in actually finding out what the real problem was. I certainly didn't have that experience with Dr. Buscher. I realize that accurately diagnosing skin conditions can sometimes be more of an art than a science, but I would suggest that both the art and the science were missing in this case...

Removal of growth on nose was quick and painless.......also attended by a friendly and efficient nurse. The office staff is capable and speedy.........would readily recommend Dr.Fischer and her staff!

Buscher is detached to the point of being cold, is seemingly uncaring, and oddly, acts like a dermatology snob, as if she just feels not just superior to, but disdain for, her patients. And as with all of the docs at DA, you will feel rushed and unable to ask the questions you might have. And that's because it's all about money, folks...the bottom line. If I were to imagine a directive they're given it would be something like this: "Get 'em in, Get 'em out, Pray that We Don't Make a Mistake in Diagnosis/Treatment, and Flog those Expensive Skin Products 'til the Cows Come Home."

Fine very professional medicine and timely service. I've struggled with advanced jungle acne from Vietnam for 50 years and have enough experience in hospitals and doctors to know a high quality professional, as Dr. Buscher is.

I saw this doctor a few years ago to have a rough spot removed from my chest. I've had these before and in the past every doctor discussed the procedure they were going to do which was to use liquid nitrogen. Before explaining or asking anything, Dr. Buscher took a scalpel and cut it off. This was definitely a quicker procedure for her. But it also left scarring on a part of my chest that shows. When I complained to her about it, she blew off my remarks by reminding me I was "older" so it shouldn't matter. I found her dismissive, presumptuous and rude. Dr. Zalka in that practice is fine. But a big NO to Dr. Buscher. Thanks to her I have a white scar in the middle of my chest.
