My 3 children have seen Dr Usmani in this same office for 25 years. I am very saddened to say after yesterdays visit with my grandson and Dr Parekattil as the attending physician. We will never step foot at Ocoee- Clermont pediatrics, again. The way this Dr and the Office Manager handled our situation while my grandson was in critical condition was rudely astonishing. My grandson needed to be admitted into the hospital and she advised us the only place we could go was Health Central if we chose Florida Hospital we would have to go sit in the Emergency room. The doctor was rude and yelled at us. She was clearly taking advantage of a young mother who did not know she had medical choices. I called to speak to the office manager who was so arrogant, all she cared about was who was right and who was wrong instead of focusing on my sick grand child and our 25 years of patronage to this office. It was very apparent the office and manager and Dr Parekatti where being spiteful! They DID NOT… have to let this sick child sit in the ER an endure the added expense and waist of time just being uncomfortable! . just because we didn't want to go to the hospital they wanted to send us too. && Mind you USMANIS ALWAYS SENT us to Florida Hospital. I have had many individuals in the community tell me they went to this office after they had there baby and quickly found new Doctors. After all the personal reviews and first hand experience It is very apparent the Usmanis, care more about retirement at this point than choosing quality care for there loyal patients. The staff has become complacent and they do not care about the patients they only care about the dollar! Don't take you children there or you will end up in Death Central in case of an emergency. PS i don't care that Orlando Health as taken over Health Central... It takes years to change a culture and they still have the same trained crappy doctors on staff! Dr Parekattil is rude, unprofessional & only cares about her $$$$ -- & the office manager Tanya is the same. If the Usmanis want to save there Practice they better clean house!!!
