I had 2 carpal tunnel surgeries performed by Dr. Wittman,left and right hands. Dr. Wittman explained what the procedures were going to be like in great detail. I felt completely at ease and reassured. Everything that he explained did happen just as he said it would. I think he is an excellent doctor who knows his craft more than 100%. He reminded me of the truly devoted doctors I had in the past, caring and efficient. I would certainly recommend him to any of my friends who needed carpal tunnel surgery.

Dr Wintman and his staff are always welcoming, courteous and helpful. Just had wrist surgery for very painful tendinitis of the wrist. Outcome was great!!! Highly recommend Dr Wintman and the Hand Center!

Stars. I see SIX, not five, when I contemplate my recent association with Dr. Wintman: punctual, professional, personable, patient, precise, and painless (almost). He performed carpal tunnel release surgery on both hands - the right on June 27th, the left on July 11th. I couldn't be more pleased with his performance, that of his staff, and Pioneer Valley Surgicenter. Four weeks post the second surgery, I see barely visible incision scars and no longer experience tingling, numbness, and pain in the fingers of either hand. And a bonus: no more awakenings caused by CTS during sleep. Plus, I'm back to bicycling, with hands that now welcome a grip on the handlebars. Bravo! Bruce Wintman. I struck "pay dirt" when I became your patient. I recommend you without hesitation - as have many others. (If I had a third CTS-afflicted hand, I'd be back to see you for the local hypo, the scalpel, and seven sutures in a flash.)

This doctor has everything a patent would require. In addition to his expertise in his field, he is personable, willing to listen, and very easy to understand. I have had two surgeries with him, and they both came out excellent. In fact , the first scar is invisible, while the second scar, just done in April is hardly visible. I I had previously used in New England orthopedics and have found Dr. Whitman at the Hand Center so much better.

Dr Wintman has operated on my hands on multiple fingers for Dupetryns. He has done an outstanding job on each surgery. Highly recommended!!!

Dr. Wintman fixed my trigger finger this summer and it's never been better. He also fixed two carpal tunnels a few years ago. I can't say enough about this doctor and his staff especially Gina and Michelle. They've always been very helpful, courteous and pleasant. I won't let anyone touch my hands except Dr. Wintman.

..Dr. Wintman is the kind of doctor you wish every doctor was. He is calm, thoughtful and compassionate. He carefully explains your problem and all issues involved for treatment. His staff is pleasant and courteous and on top of all appointments. The day of my surgery Dr. Wintman visited privately with me (and all his other patients) before I was taken to the operating room. He again explained my operation and asked if I had any questions or fears. He clearly cares about each of his patients. My surgery went well and within a few weeks my hand was back to normal without any of the issues that brought me to him. I definitely recommend Dr. Wintman for your hand problems. He will fix them and you will receive excellent care. And don’t be surprised if he calls you at home a day or two after your surgery…..just to be sure you are doing well.

I am currently recovering from my third tendon release surgery performed by Dr. Wintman three weeks ago, and without reservation I can recommend him to anyone. His kindness, compassion and calming demeanor immediately puts patients at ease and establishes a high degree of confidence in his surgical ability. He explains procedures in easily digestible terms.
