Dr. Cara Marie Hennings, MD

I was referred to Dr. Hennings by a derm at Vanderbilt, but you wouldn't know it by the way Dr. Hennings treated me. She shrugged off the fact that I couldn't afford my medications and seemed to not care at all, and I got the strong vibe that it's because I was a Medicaid patient with a problem that looked ugly, and not a wealthy, pretty patient looking to get prettier.

Dr. Hennings is among the top one percent of physicians I've encountered at Erlanger Health System. She is extremely thorough and office visits are non rushed, efficient, and she takes time to clearly explain her findings and recommendations. Great front office staff, and the nurses and residents who often accompany her interactions are similarly thorough, non rushed, efficient, and do a great job gathering information, assisting with procedures, and providing post visit information. This is an extremely busy practice, but the care is outstanding once you're ale to get an appointment.

I am so thankful to have a caring female Dermatologist in the area which will spend time with you and makes you feel important. The staff is kind and willing to help also.

Lack of care and concern for patients and makes the same condition determination within 10 minutes of the visit. All they want is to get you to come in for a 15 minute talk so they can charge you the specialist fee. And condition has only worsened with her treatment plans for eczema. Staff is rude and inconsiderate and unknowledgeable. Going elsewhere and frankly anyone else will be better then this Dr.

Dr. Hennings and her associates met all of my expectations providing me with excellent care, being professional, courteous, . . . an all around pleasant experience. I researched and selected Dr. Hennings because of the quality of her education. Having served as a hospital administrator at a highly successful teaching medical center for many years, I know being the Chief Resident at Vanderbilt is very high and noteworthy recognition. It conveys a very high degree of confidence in the medical skills of the resident. Dr. Hennings will have a very successful career in medicine.
