Dr. Carrie Lee Shulman

Wasted my time. Went in as a new patient because an MRA showed several brain aneurysms. I was scared and was looking forward to being able to ask some questions. She never even popped her head in the door. She sent her nurse in to tell me that they do not treat my type of situation there & to go to an interventional radiologist. I explained that I was frightened about my condition and would like to at least ask some questions. The nurse seemed agitated by this and suggested I ask the radiologist that they are referring me to. I asked her one or two questions, but stopped as it was obvious that she was uncomfortable & a bit annoyed. I’m not upset that I was referred to another type of doctor, I’m upset that the neurologist couldn’t take a few minutes to come in the room & answer a few questions. Aneurysm is listed in her specialties; she could have offered some information. I’m also upset that I wasted time there as it’s something they could have told me on the phone because they had my… images 2 days before. Such a lack of compassion & communication.

Dr. Carrie Shulman helped me tremendously. I had been told there was nothing wrong with me by other providers; but Dr. Shulman saw that I had compression on my Trigeminal Nerve which was causing me excruciating pain. Most people don’t relish the idea of having brain surgery but Carrie put me at ease by explaining the procedure in detail. After my surgery, I felt instant relief and gratification! My recovery was smooth and uneventful! Thank you Dr. Shulman and staff for taking such great care of me!

Prior to my back surgery with Dr. Shulman, my ability walk was confined to no more than 30 feet, without having to stop because of the pain in my back and leg. After the surgery I have not experienced ANY pain and my walking ability is unlimited. It is like a miracle getting back my ability to walk again. Dr. Shulman has a great staff - very professional and helpful. Thank you Katherine, Tiffany, and Gwen.

Had to have lower back surgery. It was a very quick decision that had to be mad. Once we decided that it was the most viable decision, they made sure that my insurance company had it covered. Even Dr. Shulman spoke with my insurance company to fight to make sure I was covered for the procedure. Can you tell me how often that happens? Hardly ever. I would and will recommend Dr. Shulman's office. Most excellent all around. Thank you.

Dr. Shulman is phenomenal. She repaired my brain aneurysm in 2010. She made me feel safe and well taken care during the whole ordeal, there were no complications which I contribute to her and her team. I cried when I found out she left Oregon. Thanks again Doc.
