I have to agree with others that she doesn't listen doesn't seem to want you to talk or ask question....Could use improvement in bedside manner. Does not seem to enjoy her job.

I went to Dr. Bogart because she was recommended to me by a family member. I was going in as a new patient. I have sores on my arms, legs and nose. I wanted to know what they were. I waited 2 months for the appointment. When I arrived I was informed I would not be seeing Dr. Bogart but her assistant. Her assistant looked me over and took a piece of a sore off my nose. She then told me not to scratch at my wounds. When I tried to tell her about the sores starting to show up on my fingers and that my hair was not going (either is my nails) She handed me a script for some medication to apply to my skin then told me to come back in four weeks. 2 wks later I rec'd a phone call informing me the thing on my nose was benign and to let them know if it was not healing, (this was left on my voice mail) and she will see me on at my scheduled appt. I got no answers about my skin issues. I also felt that at least on my first visit to Dr. Bogart's office I should seen the doctor not the assistant.… I paid the full price (as if I saw the doctor), I got the impression that I was not important and my skin issue was not something they cared about. Maybe if I was getting Botox or buying one of her products maybe Dr. Bogart would have taken the time to see me. Now I am back to trying to find someone to see me regarding my skin condition. Thanks for nothing Dr. Bogat. I have not spoken to my family member that referred you to me but when I do, they will not like what I have to say. Mary-Ellen

I am a high maintenance derm patient. These ladies (including the bookkeeping staff) are caring , effective, knowledgeable, and efficient. Best physicians that I have experienced in Sarasota. I came here when I was sixteen and have fifty years of sun issues.

Over time she has become a burden to see, she’s not interested in what you say. You just want it over with.

rushes & doesn't listen or offer help!

Dr. Milam just glances at your skin rather than giving you a thorough examination. She always seems rushed and ready to bolt out the door. She likes to talk more than listen.

I made my first appointment with Dr Milam a about 3 weeks ago, I guess I just assumed when you make an appointment with a dermatologist they will actually show up and look at you. The only person who looked at me was an LPN, when I asked the nurse if I was going to see a dermatologist she just glared at me and said yes an LPN dermatologist. When I make an appointment with a dermatologist thats who I want to see to evaluate me not a LPN. And I will bet you they billed my insurance for seeing a Dermatologist. I guess this is a new way for some Doctors to make more money by letting an unqualified LPN check to see if you have skin cancer. And it was not like I was low risk I have had skin cancer 6 times. But not allowed to see the great Dr Milam, maybe she was at the beach getting at tan.
