Dr. Day is an excellent orthopedic doctor. I chose him for a second opinion as I wanted to avoid surgery so I drove to see him in December in Bloomfield. The weather was treacherous and it took me 2 hours. I recently had an MRI and he requested another MRI, which I did in January. I never heard anything so called again to make an appointment with him. I waited over 4 months, and the pain had been increasing and unbearable, even after shots, soaks, braces, therapy, etc.Dr. Day had MRI results and all my health records on the screen, explaining results and recommendations. I know now that surgery Is my only option at this point as I've had this condition for more than 2 yrs. , and escalating.

Dr. Day is very thorough and understanding! He explained everything in great detail. He is very personable , talks to you on your level making sure you understand everything that he is explaining to you. He talks to you like you are friends. I was very impressed with him!!

Dr Day performed a palmar fasciotomy release as we had previously discussed. The procedure was quick and I had all my questions answered. Overall, I am totally satisfied with the result despite the fact that the procedure notes were a tad optimistic.
