Dr. Ambro is very thorough and has found verified skin cancers where I had no idea I had them. She is always pleasant.

Decides for you without communicating before hand about available options. Reactive touch and go follow up.

I have been a patient of Dr. Ambro for now five years, including one surgery. I cannot think of a better dermatologist than her. She is direct, transparent, to the point, and thorough. She is factual; and her professional demeanor reflects her integrity as a medical practitioner.

I read some of the reviews on Dr. Ambro and I cannot believe the stuff some folks have written. Listen, I get a stem-stern check every 6 months and she spends whatever time is needed for a thorough exam. She has operated on me several times and does an outstanding job. She is busy because she is good and had to take patients when another doctor left.

This was a disappointing experience with a doctor who obviously doesn't really care about the patient enough to take time or explain procedures

I recently switched doctors and am extremely happy I decided to do so. Dr. Ambro was never very pleasant and always dismissive. I was placed on a high dosage of an antibiotic for a year and a half with no improvement or changes in my medications. Upon seeing another doctor he immediately said I should not be on so many medications and it is ridiculous I have been on these for so long despite possible risks. Dr. Ambro does not care specifically about her patients or their conditions, I received no improvement in my skin for the year and a half I saw her, just expensive visits, medications, and laser treatments that did nothing.

Dr. Ambro was short-tempered, rushed, and demonstrated an utter lack of compassion. She was with me for 5 minutes, and when I asked her to look at something on my hand, she angrily told me I would have to make another appointment. I can't rate her medical expertise since I was not given any practical advice and never followed up.
