Dr. Christopher Heath Meyers Hawkins, MD

This is the only doctor's office where you have to leave a voice mail to get to the front desk. They seldom return phone calls and when they do, they don't do anything. I have been having a problem for over a month and after a visit to the emergency room and a visit to a NP, I got no help. I NEVER got to see the doctor.

I was referred to Dr. Hawkins by my general physician, who generally refers me to mid aged doctors. I was a little taken a back when Dr. Hawkins walked in, I am 72 and he looked really young. We talked about it and laughed about it a bit and he put me at ease. He knew immediately that I had a healthy bladder, but a very weak bladder. He went over my options, we picked the one we thought would be best for me, he scheduled a test to see if I actually qualified for the procedure. Within a few days of talking to the nurse everyday, I was deemed qualified for the procedure. Dr. Hawkins put the pace maker in and I could not be happier. Dr. Hawkins is a qualified, polite,caring, and sometimes funny doctor. I respect him and his qualifications and would highly recommend him to anyone that is need a urologist for any reason.

I trust this doctor with my life, which actually occurred recently. Diagnosed with a cancerous tumor on my right kidney, I was given an appointment with Dr. Hawkins for further review. The surgery was very complicated and I thank God I was in Dr. Hawkins and Dr. Landon's skilled hands. He will answer any questions if you just let him read reports and recent test results without interrupting him. He has a great future ahead of him.

He is a great doctor,but hard to get in to see him.That is a good doctor because everyone wants to see him.He knew exactly what my problem was and acted quickly to help me.I highly recommend him to anyone that wants results

Dr. Hawkins has been great. I had cancer he presented me with my choices that were open to me. He done a wonderful job with the surgery and I am about 4 to 6 month ahead of schedule. However I want to say I had a very, very strong praying Church and Pastor. God gave me assurance that Dr. Hawkins was the correct choice for me. I would recommend Dr. Hawkins to any one who needs a good Doctor. Also he always took time to answer all my questions.

I saw Dr. Hawkins for kidney stones. He insisted on a pelvic exam- the need for this I did not understand. He then went into depth on how weak my pelvic floor muscles were, and how he wasn't concerned about my kidneys-they'd be okay- but I need to go to pelvic floor physical therapy. I was so insulted (especially after his extremely long, invasive, non-necessary exam and inappropriate comments) by his sarcasm I can't believe anyone who says they like him. I felt extremely violated and cried for several days. Oh, and he did nothing for my kidney pain.
