He operated on my daughter and has totally failed in continuity of care. Did not prescribe proper pain meds and has not returned her phone call in SIX DAYS. Just outrageous.

I had him do my second knee surgery which I am now left with lymphedema and will have to go to therapy for the rest of my life. My knee that he did the surgery on was not treated professionally . I went in for 2 follow ups & on my second visit, he could see plane as day that my leg was twice the size of my right leg. His words were go to some physical therapy and that should help the fluid reduce. I have since then been admitted into the hosp twice due to this. It is very painful and hard at times to even wear a shoe. I will never be able to have a job to where I can stand, even an office job is risking it. I am to keep my leg elevated for 6 hrs a day among other things. I'm a 37 year old mother of 2 and can't even enjoy life now without being in severe pain at all times. PLEASE do not consider going to this doctor as this can happen to you too. I will not state my name due to my attorneys advice.

Dr. Leslie repaired my left rotator cuff in 1911, and then did the right one in 2013. I was very pleased with the way I was treated his office employees were friendly and Dr. Leslie was very patient in explaining the procedures and recoveries to me. I would definitely recommend his to friends and family.

Dr Leslie is very likable and seems to be technically qualified. There's real time and then there's Dr. Leslie time. He is always late. He has a large staff and most are easy to work with. Stay away from Joe. He is incredibly rude and incompetent, and just doesn't seem very smart. Sometimes Michelle is in a bad mood and takes it out on her patients. Other times, she's nice. She seems to a competent office nurse. The real reason not to have Dr. Leslie do your surgery is the local hospital. Lake Regional Hospital is a death trap filled with incompetent staff who probably have not washed their hands since they got their job. I also had a smaller procedure done at his surgical institute. The staff there is very friendly and very competent. I would not hesitate to recommend the Surgical Institute of the Ozarks.

My experience was awesome except for the office wait. I found him to be excellent in explaining my injury before surgery and what he'd done afterwards.

Excellent surgeon, had no problems with total knee replacement however when it came to getting documentation for the VA for the service connected injuries I was LIED TO SEVERAL TIMES by the Doctor and his staff and after four months I still have not gotten the documentation the doctor agreed to provide BEFORE he operated on my knee. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS MAN FOR ANY VETERAN NEEDING ASSISTANCE.

the only complaint i have is getting someone to do your disability call,i know their busy but your disability payments arent the big, and you rely on them the longer it takes for someone to make the call for you the longer you have to wait,for your check.

i have observed so many people in our area who have had major problems after Dr. Leslie has operated on them.
