Dr. Christopher Michael Magee, MD

As someone who experienced knee problems all of my life as the result of birth defects, I have experience with many orthopedic doctors and have seen Dr. Magee for many years. He never rushed to surgery and always suggested more conservative options so that I could put off knee replacements that were first recommended by another doc when I was only 28. I credit him for keeping me from being in a wheel chair by now. At this point he has done two knee replacements for me, one for my husband and several for friends. He is not only skilled, but he is kind and compassionate. I could not recommend him more highly.

I have been a patient of Dr. Magee's for over 15 years. He is a perfectionist in his work, cares deeply for his patients, is kind and has a very calming personality. He is cautious and thorough in his treatment. More than once, his skills have made a terrible situation for me turn into a complete success. I highly recommend this surgeon, and his staff.

Dr Magee has performed knee and hip replacement on me. He is very professional and outstanding before, during and after surgery. He takes time to listen and makes sure other steps are taken before the last possible relief. I have total trust in him.

My overall one star review is because after the doctor made a conclusive diagnosis of tendenitis and said he'd be able to call in medication for me if I had a flare up, he didn't make the note in my file. I called on a Friday with bad pain in my dominant hand and the office staff was rude and claimed they couldn't reach a single doctor or nurse to get something figured out for me. I've never seen such blatant disregard for a patient's condition. They tried to say "well you've only been here once and it was in April," as if that had anything to do with their lack of competence. It had barely been two months and it was a conclusive diagnosis.

Patient and gentle doctor. Not only a great surgeon, but has a wonderful bedside manner. Explained everything to me completely and thoroughly and answered all my questions. Would highly recommend him to anyone.

Have had two surgeries with Dr. McGee and He is a great Surgeon. I received calls at home after surgery personaly from Dr. McGee. The staff has always treated me just great. I would highly recommend this Doctor. I have knee and shoulder problems.

Dr. Magee diagnosed the cause of my shoulder pain and solved the problem without surgery.

Dr Magee is the best. He does not do unnecessary surgeries, so when he does tell you that it's required, you can rely on that. He is very laid back and welcomes any type and number of questions. He has always educated me as to what's going on with my various injuries/surgeries over the years. I highly recommend him; I would not see anyone else.
