The Doctor and staff were extremely professional and yet quite approachable. There was none of the traditional wait I’ve become accustomed too, with 5 mins of arriving I was in a room and within15 mins I had x-rays and was speaking with the Doctor. It was a very pleasurable experience.

I had injured my knee, it was very painful to walk on. At my first visit, he spent 10 minutes at least, talking about how I should/could cut calories. "Get a journal, write down what you eat". They did xrays and he sent me home to "ride an exercise bike slowly". Went back 2 weeks later, knee hurt worse than the first visit, and I told him I wanted an MRI done. Went back 2 weeks later and he told me there was nothing surgical he could do to help my knee. That my injury was "a ticket to the gym". He also told me that "if we have a 1 ton dump truck and we always put 1.5 tons in it, it is going to break down. we can repair a truck, we can't repair the body". HE COMPARED ME TO A DUMP TRUCK!!! I am over weight but that isn't the point. After reviewing my copy of the MRI report, the radiologist saw strains of 3 tendons, and bone edema that "could be related to meniscus dysfunction. None of which he told me. I am now getting a second opinion.

I always enjoy seeing Dr. Leonard. He gets right to the point and is quite nice and uplifting while doing so. Gives his diagnosis and you are free to discuss and ask questions. Not a time waster which is good for him and his patients. Good sense of humor too!

Day 1 after surgery on my hip. Dr. Leonard was kind, caring, and provided exceptional surgical treatment for me! Up and about walking with very little pain and I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Dr. Leonard and staff are the best you can ask for. They give you a folder (book) with all pre and post surgery answers you do not think of asking. Make you go to a joint class that is well worth it. If I ever need another hip replacement or ankle, knee or shoulder I will be going back to Front Range Orthopedics and Spine.

Dr Leonard’s ego caused him to dismiss my pain following surgery. He said it was my fault, I was drug seeking and not in pain. It turns out my implant was botched. He said the X-rays were wrong and the radiologist, along with the professional who read the Bone Scan was wrong. Find another doctor.

Such a caring individual for your whole surgical recovery. Wants you to be able to resume your life activities, not just to be able to walk after surgery! Very honest about your recovery questions. Went to him for a second opinion, he was more informative than my original surgeon so I selected him. Very easy to put your trust in him.
