We went to this practice when we could not conceive our second child. It was a very stressful time, but everyone made us feel relaxed and responded to us promptly as if we were their only patient. We conceived our second child with the first cycle of IVF and couldn't be happier!

I have been dealing with infertility since my late 20's and have dealt with Baystate for the past ten years. I managed to finally get pregnant after 7 IUI cycles. In retrospect I should have pushed for IVF. When I tried to conceive a second child I had three cancelled ivf cycles due to low response. Throughout all of my time there I rarely spoke to Dr. Sites and the nurses seemed so busy that they rarely knew my name or sometimes why specifically I was even there. After the failed ivf cycles they suggested I consider their donor egg program. My husband and I met with Kathy Wycoff and the social worker to discuss what we would seek in an egg donor. After doing a pilot cycle and having Kathy not recognize me and ask why I was there it became increasingly obvious they had no donors. In that time I had a family member offer to donate her eggs. I called the clinic and tried to speak to Kathy. Instead I spoke to a nurse I had never even met before. She called me back within 5… minutes to tell me they would not offer me treatment because I may have coerced this family member into donating her eggs and that it was unethical. This judgement was passed due to a bad experience they dealt with in the past obviously not by speaking directly to myself, my husband or my egg donor. Neither Kathy Wycoff or Dr. Cites bothered to call and tell me themselves. We have since gone to Boston IVF where they failed to see any ethical issue. Baystate Reproductive Medicine has a history of passing unfair ethical judgements on their patients and refusing people care. In dealing with Boston IVF and their compassionate and professional approach with patients it has made me realize how truly unprofessional Baystate Reproductive Medicine is.
