Dr. Dana Ray Baker, MD

I have been a patient of Dan Baker for 13 years. Dr. Baker decided to change his practice to require $1600/year just to be on his list of patients. I had just had my annual physical when I was informed of his new practice so I switched doctors for my 90 day followup. Then I get a letter and voicemail telling me he decided to not pursue the VIP practice but when I called his office to tell them I wanted him to be my primary care physician I was informed he had decided not to take back any patients that had moved their records. He put me in the position of having to seek a new doctor and then DUMPS me again. What a jerk!

I have never had such a problem with a doctors office. The entire office staff and medical assistants have been nothing but disrespectful to me and my mother. The office also relies on the medical assistants to convey a diagnosis. These medical assistants have no medical knowledge what so ever, and do not have the capability to clarify any question I might have had. Nor do they offer to ask someone who would know. Their ability to communicate is extremely disappointing for medical professionals. I will never return and would never recommend them to anyone. Further, when they messed up, the office never apologized or admitted the error. The continued to blame me for everything. This is the worst experience I have ever had.

i've been going to Dr. Baker for about ten years and think he's the best! You may have a little wait to see him but that's because he takes the time needed for each patient. He is gentle and caring. The staff is always courteous and his PA, Karen, is great too.
