Dr. Paskowitz removed cataracts from both of my eyes. This was done in two appointments. The entire staff was so pleasant, I would do this again. It only took 15 minutes for each eye and the recovery was so fast! I would recommend him to anyone

I was nervous going into the appointment- fear of doctors. He began to look at my eyes, could sense I was nervous, and after 3 seconds got extremely frustrated & snapped “you’re too nervous for this & I’m not going to look at your eyes.” He waited for me to relax until I said was ready again & he nearly refused to take another look. Eventually he did, but I felt like I had to ask him to look again. I brought up his frustration level & he got very defensive about his reaction. He rambled on about how he wasn’t frustrated and he was only trying to make me comfortable, but I was very uncomfortable.He was so unprofessional, condescending, & rude. To make matters worse, he called my mom (who I brought with me to the appointment since my eyes were dilated) to apologize. He did not call me to apologize. I am over 18 so I don’t see any reason why he could not apologize to me, the patient. My mom said the apology was more of him defending himself than an apology. Overall, he has terrible… bedside manor and I left feeling stupid, confused and not entirely sure my eyes were ok.
