He was an excellent doctor. He was very nice had a great bedside manner and took time to explain the procedure where I could understand. He visited every day I was in the hospital and it was early in the morning he didn’t make you wait all day. I would go back to him if I needed surgery.

He was patient, professsional and knowledgeable about my procedure. He made me feel like I wasn't just another surgery. I would recommend him for gallbladder surgery.

I was sent to dr. Pischl by my primary dr and I’m very glad she did. He is very nice and explaining everything and answering all my questions. The staff are very sweet young ladies. I highly recommend him.

Had a referral from a primary care doctor. Referral was not needed. Was a waste of my money for the copay to tell me nothing was wrong. The Doctors office could have told me a I didn’t need a referral and go back to my primary care doctor.

When I was in extreme gall bladder distress, Dr. Pischl offered to see me in his office immediately. Both he and his office staff were thoughtful, warm, and caring. He explained exactly what would need to be done and set a date for surgery. When I asked if I could be put on a waiting list in case someone had to cancel, he and his nurse quickly reconsidered my case, and fit me in quickly and carefully at an earlier date. Everything about this procedure with Dr. Pischl and his staff went smoothly and professionally. Their cheerful, can-do attitudes are greatly appreciated as well. I am happy to recommend Dr. Pischl without reservation.

Dr. Pischl went over my surgery in great detail, answered all of my questions and also has a great bedside manner. Laura and the nurses are all fantastic as well! My surgery went flawlessly and I highly recommend him to anyone seeking a general surgeon.

The doctor did a great job in surgery. After the operation there was very little pain. By the 3rd day no, pain at all. In his office he listens to your needs. Great job ???????????? Thank you

Best physician ever! He actually listens to your concerns and fears. He explains everything that’s going happen and could happen in your situation. He has great bedside manners. Which is excellent in this day and time. I would recommend Dr. Pischl to anyone needing surgery.

Dr Pischl, staff, and Tennova’s Surgery Center all earn top marks and respect in my opinion. Prior to my surgery, the day of, and post surgery follow-up care were the best you could ask for from a provider. The paperwork, hospital check-in, and surgery all were like a well-oiled machine in action. It was a pleasure to have everything occur in a timely and courteous manner. The nurses that did the prep work for the surgery were pleasant and I have to say humorous in an appropriate way. It was really nice to see people who seemed genuinely happy with their work. Dr Pischl, and anesthesiologist made sure I knew exactly what was to occur and welcomed my questions. When I made one of the staff aware of an issue with having my face covered, they accommodated me without hesitation. After surgery, Dr Pischl checked on me, explained post surgical care, and ensured I made a follow-up with his office. When I went for follow-up, once again, the appointment was on time and Dr. Pischl was… outstanding and never appeared to be in a rush to get me out the door. I also appreciated that he wasn’t like some doctors who want a never ending stream of follow-ups. He did encourage if I had any concerns or needed to see him, to immediately reach out. I can’t say enough “positive” about my experience. Don’t get me wrong, surgery is not high on my list of “things I want”, but since I did need surgery, I am thankful to Dr Pischl, staff, and Tennova for providing the very best, professional experience I could ask for.
