Daniel Brevard Vance IV

I have seen many doctors over my 75 years. When I moved back to Cleveland in 2008 I started seeing D. Vance and I have never regretted it for one minute. He always takes time to listen to me when I feel like I have a need. I would gladly recommend to any one.

I've read all the comments and can't believe we're talking about the same doctor! I've seen Dr. Vance 4 times since we moved here to Cleveland one year ago. He ALWAYS takes time to answer all my questions and listens to every last detail. Yes, sometimes I've had to wait (although never 2-3 hours as others have stated) but I know I'm waiting because he's the kind of doctor who spends the time needed with each patient. My husband sees him, as well, and we will not be looking for another doctor... Just one more thing, I've noticed some of the reviewers have rated him low because of his staff. I agree that sometimes staff members can drop the ball and that obviously will affect your visit. I just choose to put up with those inconveniences to get care from a great doctor... :=/

My wife and i both have been a patient of Dr. Vance. I dropped him a long time ago, but my wife being a dummy is still seeing him. My wife had open heart surgery with a three way bi-pass four weeks ago and is still recovering. She developed pseudo gout yesterday and can not even walk at all. She called Vance today for a prescription refill for it that the date had expired. Vance sail she would have to come in to see him to get it renewed and that he couldn't even see her till Monday (this is Thursday) and like i said she can't walk on her feet at this time. How caring of this jerk, so if this is the type of vet (i mean doctor) you aspire to, have at it. Not me or anyone else i can warn, BEWARE!!!

Does not want to be asked any questions and does not listen to patient input about how they feel. Very condescending, not good with elderly people.

I think Dr. Vance is great, been seeing him for almost 20 years. The problem is that no one answers the phone because the staff has been cut down to a skeleton crew. It's a 6 minute wait on the phone until you can leave a message, then you have to wait a day for them to get back to you. Who's got that kind of time, let alone the ridiculous amount of time in the waiting room. Not worth it, finding someone new.

2 hours past my appointment before I saw Dr. Vance. Should have walked out but needed my scripts refilled. This happens every time. I will be finding another doctor for sure.

My wife ALWAYS has to wait anywhere from 2 to 3 hrs for service. Even after being called into the office there is a couple of hrs wait. Why is this?? He is a very good Dr. But my goodness the wait time is unreal.

Have been looking for a doctor who would listen and be attentive to my needs. I am very greatful for having found him.

If I had to see this doctor I would refuse. My husband had an appointment at 4:30 and he was seen at 7:00p.m. Wait time is usually about 3 hours......This doctor is not worth the wait...
