Dr. Daniel A Warner Jr, MD

I have been going to Dr. Warner for over 10 years, and would not consider another doctor. He is the very best, always respectful, comforting, and an expert in his field. He is an amazing doctor, and has an amazing team of professionals. They are like family!

I will say that I am loyal to Dr. Warner as a patient but I absolutely can not stand dealing with the office staff at his new location. They have no regard to dire emergencies, they are dealing with life and death and show little to no interest in helping you. I stood outside in the waiting area at the window for 15 minutes without even being acknowledged. I tapped on the window, I assumed they did not know I was standing there. The receptionist spoke to me through the glass and said " I wouldn't do that again if I were you". Threats? for tapping on the window when I can hear at least 4 people laughing and carrying on behind that very same window. I left and then returned to be scolded like a child for being offended and letting the receptionist know it. Ever since, I have been given the runaround for appointments and medication. I have not been able to take my medication in 4 days and his appointments are scheduled two months out and one appointment takes 4 hours ( 2 hours of… waiting in the lobby 2 hours waiting in the room for 15-20 minutes of Dr Warner's time ). So, as a result of their lack of urgency regarding my life i will most likely be looking for a new doctor. As I stated, Dr Warner is a wonderful Doctor and very knowledgeable in his field but his office staff needs to be reevaluated.

Dr. Warner seems to be good at what he does but his office staff leave a lot to be desired. Non caring bunch with very little compassion. They don't seem to understand they are sometimes dealing with life of death situations not a case of the sniffles. Be prepared to wait for your appointment once it took 3 hours to get in to see the Doctor. We may look for another doctor soon.

Dr. Warner's should be a last resort. The doctor issues directions and then forgets the directions he gave nor does he make any notes of any kind as to verbal directions given to his patients. His RN's have once taken a medication away without his knowledge, a medication I might add that one is supposed to be slowly removed from not cold turkey. Beware of him. I suggest keeping your own notes as that is the only way to keep him honest. And plan on waiting a long time in the waiting room. His waiting room is where time goes to die.

Might have to wait for the doc; but he is worth it

Most knowledgeable HIV Physician in the area! I live in Orlando and travel over an hour to see him! The doctors at OIDC are here for the money and I am just a number in that office, if your positive and want your life back Dr. Warner is the one! Dr. Warner cares about his patients as well as his staff cares for us patients!

I left Warner in the dust! Has a god-complex with no regard for his patients personal feelings, questions, etc. I now see Dr. Ortiz @ OIC in Orlando...top rated infectious disease specialist!!! The practice also has a full on-going research program privy to the latest and greatest therapies and techniques. If you want concentrated care and superior professionalism look no further...you will wish you had found him sooner!!

Excellent Doctor- extremely professional and attentive to his patients. Very knowledgeable with leading edge therapies.

Dr. Warner is very knowledgeable. If you work for a living, plan on using all of your time waiting and revisits. If you have your own thoughts about your own healthcare, this is not the office for you. This office makes all decisions for you regardless of your thoughts for your care. If I had any other local option, I would for go his expertise for some other doctor that would listen to his patients and a staff that understand that it is very difficult working for a living and living with a current terminal disease. My disease does not define who I am . . .
