Dr. Melissa Anne Morgan, MD

I found it difficult to contact office by phone. There are a series of numbers to press with programmed questions and answers, but you cannot get an office person for help. When in the office, the staff members are surly and rude. The doctor is good, though.

Dr. Morgan is a conscientious caring provider that listens to her patients. She explains everything in her plan for your care. I have been in awe of her ability since I chose her for my diabetic care. She truly treats you as if you were one of her own .

Worst managed office. This office is consistently bad. Here waiting for 30 minutes for a shot that was schedule. The front desk staff are condescending and I believe breathe laziness. While waiting inside front office desk chat and giggles.

This is becoming more obvious I noticed it but now my orelative that I referred noticed it too. Staff specially the front desk has horrible attitudes.

I have met with this doctor at least 5 times. When I tell her that I don't well she says it is part of getting old. I am a vet fit 68 year old with a thyroid problem. I am moving back to Georgia!

I'm sorry, but while Dr. Morgan is nice enough, she is one of the poorest quality endocrinologists I've ever been to. She only gives standard, black and white advice like "just eat more protein" but a real action plan is never made. Once, her grand solution to my weight problem was to "drink more coffee". I have gained so much weight since being under her care and I feel very frustrated and unsupported as she never truly offers any real solutions and she doesn't take the time to understand WHY the problem is occurring, what patient-specific factors she can help me with. It might help if she was in the room for longer than 2 minutes (yes, I've timed it). I've heard the same complaint coming from other people that I know who no longer see her because of it. Only see Dr. Morgan if you want cookie cutter advice that you could Google for yourself.

after seeing a few other doctors in the area for my thyroid condition (hypo) I was led to Dr. Morgan by a former patient and friend of mine. I have had a great experience with Dr. Morgan over the past two years and will continue to do so

I am a Type I Diabetic on an insulin pump and Dr. Morgan is the BEST endocrinologist I have had. I have been seeing her for over 4 years now and with her knowledge and guidance I have had my diabetes in control,consistanly, for the first time since being diagnosed over 15 years ago.

Dr. Morgan does not spend time with her Type One diabetics. I would not recommend her to anyone who has Type 1.

Finding any endocronologist is difficult, since there is usually a 3 month wait for new patients, but I am glad that I took that chance with Dr Morgan. I have been going there for several years now(office has moved to Baptist South facility) and I couldn't be happier! She DOES take the time to listen and ensure she understands all concerns and is very careful in explaining what is going on and the parts that I am responsible for in order to have a successful treatment.
