Dr. David Nigel Armstrong, MD

Dr. Armstrong is a superior physician. In my case, Dr. Armstrong performed a dual procedure, colonoscopy and hemorrhoid band. Everything went as Dr. Armstrong described in my pre-operation meeting. For me it was a refreshing napping and fast recovery.

We highly recommend Dr. Armstrong. He is knowledgeable and compassionate. Our experience is that these two qualities rarely occur in the same doctor these days. Dr. Armstrong really was a lifesaver. I had been turned away from Emory Hospital after they KNEW my appendix was swollen, I was sent home. My digestive doctor knew of Dr. Armstrong and sent me to him. He knew quickly that the appendix would need to come out . Surgery was a smooth process. He took it out with no complications. He was detailed prior to the surgery and made sure I was informed and comfortable. Thanks for helping my health for the better Dr. Armstrong!

I can't say enough about Dr. Armstrong's surgical management of my wife's condition as well as his "bedside" manner in the office at all pre- and post-surgical visits. My wife and I are both healthcare professionals and thus had many very specific questions. At each and every visit, he took the necessary time to fully answer and explain everything which we asked. We are very thankful to have been referred to his service and are pleased with my wife's outcome.

Please avoid at any cost. Dr. Armstrong is short and curt to the point of being rude. I was willing to overlook his negative personality, hoping he was a better surgeon. I saw him to remove 3 hemorrhoids. During the operation, he elected to remove two hemorrhoids, not the three that we had discussed. 18 months later, I am going back through this difficult surgery to have the 3rd hemorrhoid removed. He never gave a good explanation as to why he did not remove the third and only wrote a mandatory post operation report after several requests. He wrote a short paragraph that disguised the fact that he did not remove all three. My wife is a 20+ year physician and felt that he was terrible Dr. Stay away

Dr. Armstrong is very engaging with his patients. He explained everything prior to surgery in a very professional manner. The outcome of my surgery experience was excellent. I would highly recommend him to both friends and family.

Dr. Armstrong took his time to explain to me what he had to do before surgery, and took hi time explaining how it went at the follow up. He was friendly and kind. Nobody wants to see this kind of Doctor. He has a gift for putting people at ease. He also comes with the respect of several doctors in other practices/specialties. I was assured by several of his colleagues that I was in good hands.
