Dr. David B Auerbach, DO

I would not go to Auerbach again if he treated me for nothing. He has no clue what he is doing and has the personality of a rock.

Dr. Auerbach has been been my ophthalmologist for many years. He has removed lesions around my eyes, one even basal cell. Always does it to perfection. Very meticulous and has very good hands. He always answers my questions and I ask many! He had to perform a delicate eye surgery on my husband a couple years ago and the surgery went perfectly. Recently I had a cataract removed from my right eye with the laser. I have dry eyes and blepharitis, so they had to put me on a regimen to resolve this with home treatments. Once resolved, I had the surgery which went well, the recovery was easy, and now I have 20/20 vision in that eye! What a difference! I recommend him highly because he is the best!!!

The office is very nice. The support staff and MA's were polite, professional and took time to complete the initial assessments for the Doctor. The Dr. was the complete opposite. He did not take the time to explain when questions were asked. He appeared in a hurry and looked at his watch while conducting his assessment. When asked clarifying questions related to assessment and diagnosis/treatment plan , the Doctor appeared to become elevated and question the patient's reason for being at his practice. My recommendation is to take the extra couple of minutes to answer the questions patients ask. It can go a long way in helping those that are seeking care and treatment.

Excellent ophthalmologist! He performed the diagnosis and surgery for a cataract on my right eye. He was excellent in explaining what the procedure would entail and what to expect for results. Very well organized staff and provided all details I needed. I am extremely pleased with the entire process and results! Thanks!

From getting annual eye exams, to cataract surgery, to getting a Laser YAG Capsulotomy that cleared my vision, Dr. Auerbach and the physicians and staff at Eye Physicians of Central Florida consistently provide me with exceptional care and service. At every level of contact, the schedulers, receptionists, technicians, nursing assistants, nurses and the physician specialists keep the whole process running like a Swiss watch. That is no easy feat in such a large organization. And, as large as they are, you never feel like a number. Dr. Auerbach and his staff always treats you as a valued patient, keeping you informed every step of the way. Regardless of your eye care needs, Dr. Auerbach and his personable, skilled team will guide you smoothly through the process of getting exceptional, quality, eye care. And they do it with concern, courtesy and kindness. I can’t recommend Dr. Auerbach and his organization highly enough.

I have nothing but praise for Dr. Auerbach and his team. He was very professional and put me at ease at the very first appointment. The surgery consultant, Tristan is the BEST and helped me work out all the details, and helped allay my fears :). The day of the surgery Dr. Auerbach and the surgical team were AMAZING! My vision is honestly better now than it has EVER been. No kidding. I can see crazy good. I would highly recommend Dr. Auerbach to anyone that needs eye surgery.

Took four calls and worst service I have ever received. Young 'nasty' female supvrs took call after two inexperienced reps could not handle patient, sprvsr went off on me, the patient in an amygdala attack, talking over me for 3-minutes, and pridefully said she'd "do it again, cause she was 'not' going to listen to me". All are inexperienced, young selfish people w/no service skills in CC. The next day, the young AA suprvs took it upon herself to cancel my appt. when another young rep became nervous at my asking her to make it quick since I was driving on my way to work and had only 10-minutes. The reps do not respect patient time. The young csr didn't even know how to ask my name. CC reps Extremely Disrespectful to elders and especially cancer patients.

Dr. Auerbach has done cataract surgery on me and my husband with excellent results.

Best practice in the are, and Dr. Auerbach is the best surgeon.

I had very successful cataract surgery on both eyes within a two month period. Dr. David B. Auerbach and his staff provided the best overall experience I've ever had in any doctor's office. Extremely organized, punctual (no long waits), and I never felt so confident in a doctor's ability - an important quality when looking for someone who will be operating on your eyes. Great vision after surgery. Would recommend him to everyone...including my closest family members and friends.
