Dr. David Peter Beckmann, MD

Dr. Beckmann is a true hero! In these uncertain times, he has chosen to remain vigilantly entrenched in the fight against the corona virus. On a recent visit, he took the time to explain the variables associated with the current covid-19 pandemic. This down-to-earth physician is an asset to the community he serves! On both a professional, and personal level, I look up to him. It is an honor being Dr. David Beckmann’s patient!

Dr. Beckman, and his staff are the kindest and most professional practice I have had the pleasure of frequenting. I work in the medical industry, and can say without a doubt that Dr. Beckman's Practice is the only one I'd recommend to anyone looking for for a general practitioner.

I had several symptoms I thought were not related and he immediately knew what they were related. I always leave smiling. He's just great in all ways! A fantastic group!

My husband and I both use Dr. Beckman, and I can honestly say, I am so glad that we do! He isn't your typical Dr..... not the " whats wrong".... ok get some rest, try this, try that, and we'll re evaluate soon..... He wants to know how you feel, he wants to understand, and has compassion, he wants to find out what's going on with you, just as much a you do!! I can't say how much we appreciate Dr. Beckman, and his staff! His nurse, is absolutely amazing, as well, as makes our experience even better! They are a great team, and I wouldn't ever use another doctor, he is by far the best!!!! If your looking for a dr that cares, and will actually listen , this I would highly recommend Dr. Beckman, and his nurse both!!!

Dr. Beckmann has been our family doctor for approximately 5 years and am so thankful that he decided to practice medicine near our home. I’ve worked in the medical field for about eight years and have had the opportunity to work with many doctors and see firsthand their bedside manner. In those eight years, I have never met a doctor as patient, caring, professional, and trustworthy as Dr. Beckmann. He always greets his patients with a smile and ALWAYS shakes our hand, making us feel at ease and comfortable and important. During our visit, he always asks if he has answered all of our questions, never rushes the appointment, and always explains thoroughly any procedures, testing, or medication needed. He always follows up with a phone call after any sick visit with him to ensure that treatment is working or to just make sure that we feel better. His support staff is also great, particularly his medical assistant, Tanishia! He practices at two locations, has late hour appointments, same… day sick appointments, and some Saturday appointments, which makes it perfect for us since we take advantage of the late hours due to our working schedule. I pray he never decides to move away because I’ll need to relocate to wherever he goes!

Moved to Midlothian 2 yrs. ago. I researched this Doctor, I have been to many over my long years. He is one of the best, he is truly concerned about your health, he will take what ever time needed to listen and explain to you. He took 1 1/2 hrs with wife and I going into his lunch time. His staff is the greatest. The receptionist ( Michelle) goes beyond her duties to assist you. And the nurse (tanisha) will put a smile on your face and just make you feel better. He's always very punctual and helpful, making sure my needs were met. Very friendly and understanding!
