Dr. Denise A Ranucci, MD

Went for my yearly visit and got half an exam. So being decent I paid her three quarters of the bill. She’s lucky she got that. So got a letter months later after I made several calls with being the last one stated the office manager will call you back. Which never happened. Now they want to put me in collections. I’m reporting her to the board of physicians and wherever else I can put a complaint in. I should charge her because I had to go to another doctor to get a real exam. This whole office is a joke. I don’t think anybody follows through with anything there.

I saw Dr. Ranucci for a vaginal ulcer I had. It was taking a long time to heal and the only good advice she gave me was to not put creams or really anything on it and let it heal on it's own. She took one look and said it's herpes. I told her that I had recently been tested for STIs and my boyfriend and I were being safe. He also did not have any STIs. She basically said that he was lying. She took a sample to test, but said because it was already healing it would come back negative, but she was sure it was herpes and she was clearly judging me for this and was very emotionless. Made me feel really awkward. I got a second opinion and got tested again. I was cleared for any STIs. I had to have a very uncomfortable conversation with my boyfriend for nothing. The stress and anxiety she put me through was enough for me never to see her again. Turns out it was a mild infection from a scratch.

Run away as fast as you can. She is horrible. I don’t even know where to start...

I heard from a friend that this doctor was sued for malpractice after missing a breast cancer diagnosis. I would stay away from her!

She is awesome! Takes time to answer questions and has a very nice bed side manner. I highly recommend her!!

She made me feel very comfortable for what can be an uncomfortable exam, wonderful bedside manner and excellent clinician who takes time to talk to and educate yer patients. I've referred family and friends to her and will continue to do so.

Several years ago I went to this doctor because of missed period with spotting. I said I wasn't pregnant because my husband had a vasectomy. She did a uterine biopsy, and then called to inform me I was pregnant but the biopsy most likely destroyed the embryo. Had to have a D&C, she was very cold and zero concern for my feelings. It's in the past but I thought worth mentioning.
