Dr. Dennis William Burke, MD

Dr Burke was the best dr I could have chosen to replace my hip. His caring, compassion and attention to patient quality of care is second to none. He saw me at least twice a day while I was hospitalized, always answered questions made sure I was okay. The only orthopedist I will ever go to.

For a world renowned doc, he was really awful. He broke my femur doing a knee replacement. I won't share all the grim details but it turns out he had about 10 plus weeks after the surgery to go back and do a simple procedure to prevent the bone from collapsing permanently. The actual knee replacement titanium device appears to work but my lower leg is permanently turned out. I can not extend my operated leg fully. He did not even mention he could easily fix the problem caused by the fracture of the femur he caused. There was a lot of post-op issues he created needlessly. I renamed him Dr. Crippler which turned out to be very true. The functional problems are worse at my ankle and whole leg is out of sync. The scar looks fine except it is a little off to the side. I am in my seventies so I really don't care about the scar. Milton Hospital was great and very excellent. Thanks for listening.

Not a patient, but from what I've read this doctor has a lot of honesty and integrity -- sorely lacking in some doctors and hospitals. TY Dr Burke.

Dr Burke did a knee replacement for me ten years ago! Awesome recovery and never have had a pinch or a pain since! Dr Dennis Burke is the most caring and efficient orthopedic surgeon you will ever find! Because he is so excellent,I had to wait a few months before surgery! I rejoice every day that I did! After surgery he sees you once if your having any problems after that visit your treated like a new patient and the wait time can be up to 2 months.

I saw several orthopedic surgeons and finally found Dr Burke. His expertise, care and ability to reassure and make me as a patient feel confident was critical. He operated on both hips, recovery excellent, and post operative care as good as pre- op and surgery itself. His office staff is outstanding, and very reassuring.

Dr. Burke is the best and the wait times are worth it. As noted iin Field of Dreams --" If you build it they will come." And because Dr. Burke is the best they come and he tries to treat as many patients as possible. And the wait time is worth it as I can attest from two total hip replacements.

Dr. Burke is simple the best orthopedist in the Boston area. His skill and attention to patients is outstanding. He replaced my hip and saw me at least once, usually twice, each of the four days I was hospitalized. He clearly explains his procedures and is a calm, and compassionate provider, rather rare in surgeons. By all means, see him for hip or knee replacement surgery.

Dr Burke was the absolute best surgeon. I was in agony before my two hip replacements, Dr Burke was so caring throughout the operations and follow up. My life has changed dramatically both physically and mentally since the surgeries. Dr Burke is my HERO. I love the Guy.
