Actually listens to what you are saying, very thorough

I have been a patient of Dr. Sanders for years. I am relatively healthy and my expectations for a PCP are low. Dr. Sanders and Midlothian Family Practice barely met them. My experience with office wait times were at least 30 minutes plus. I left once after waiting an hour. Sanders recently left Midlothian and is now practicing in Powhatan only. No communication to his patients. Didn't find out until my prescription renewal was denied. Multiple phone calls to his office followed. Staff was unfriendly, unsympathetic and unhelpful. Still waiting for a promised return call. Time to find another doctor...

Through this gentleman's care, my husband has recovered from a massive stroke and several mini strokes.

Dr. Sanders is a very kind doctor, who makes you immediately feel at ease. He listens to everything you have to tell him, and asks good follow-up questions. He treats you as his equal, and does not talk down to you. My current medical issues are rather puzzling, and Dr. Sanders has not (yet) found a diagnosis, but neither have a neurologist, rheumatologist, and allergy specialist.I would definitely recommend to everyone, who would like a kind, solid, compassionate doctor.
