Dr. Donald Joseph Stinar, MD

MY wife saw Dr. Stinar due to stage 4 lung cancer. She had been through 6 months treatment and had been without disease. She had 3 small tumors appear and the oncologist sent us to him. He told us it was not a good idea to do the biopsy. That he did not see the rationale. And, that he thought that it would be almost impossible to get enough of a sample from her small tumors to run the test wanted. He refused to do the biopsy. The oncologist insisted that we go to a radiologist specialist to do the biopsy. He told he could get the specimen. Well we drove 150 miles spent all day. They got 3 cancerous cells. But, could not do the test the oncologists wanted. Dr. Stinar was right. We will listen to him intently in the future. And, probably do what he says. He is very down to earth.
