Dr. Dudley G Brown Jr, MD

Dr. Brown should retired. He has been on the field for way too long and does not respect patients opinions. If you do what he says you are fine. His office is so greedy. Take honestly make you pay everything upfront, sometimes thousands of dollars in advance. His office staff is BEYOND rude, most of them at least.

I worked with Dr Brown for 3 years on the labor and delivery floor so when my time had come, I knew exactly who I was going to. He is the best!!! He will treat you like family and truly cares about your pregnancy and birth. He takes the time to listen to your concerns and knows just how to fix them! I just had the most amazing experience and delivery with him. I know I did not tear or have any complications because of his guidance and technique. The whole staff is amazing. Now he has great NP and OBGYN that are incredible additions to the practice. You really can’t go wrong with who you see there! They spend the time to listen to you and will spend so much time educating you. Also christina the ultrasound tech is the sweetest and most competent! My ultrasound was exactly what my babies birthweight was and she makes sure to take her time so you can get a good look at your baby as well as making sure everything looks perfect. Highly recommend practice and doctors!!

Dr. Brown is absolutely amazing! I can’t imagine having any other Doctor. We went through a successful pregnancy and a miscarriage with Dr. Brown and he was so kind and supportive. I don’t know what we would do without him. I highly recommend him!

I had heard good things about this practice so I went there. Bloodwork was completed and I was called by the nurse to inform me everything looked great. A week later an untrained medical assistant called me at 7:00 at night to tell me there was "concerning" news about my labs. This is not something that should ever be told to a pregnant woman. I asked questions and the assistant reported she could not answer the medical questions I was asking regarding my test results. I called back first thing the next morning and left a message that I wanted to speak with a doctor or nurse. They then had the same medical tech call me back and argue with me about speaking to a medical professional. I let her know firmly that I am aware of my right to speak with someone who could explain the results. The doctor finally got on the phone and lectured me for 10 minutes about overreacting and not being respectful to his staff. Due to my test results I then asked that my records be sent to another… doctor for a consult and second opinion. When I called to follow up after confirming my next appointment, I was told "by the way all of your appointments have been cancelled." I asked why as I had confirmed this appointment and I was told by the receptionist, "It's common sense that if you have your records sent to another doctor we cancel all of your appointments and do not need to inform you." Absolutely not true, and any patient has a right to a second opinion without having their care terminated by a doctor without notice. Apparently this practice does not allow their patients to get second opinions. I told her this was ridiculous and asked to speak with the nurse or doctor. The office never even bothered to call me back. I am disgusted with the level of care that was provided, the fact that an untrained person provided positive test results (which turned out to be a false positive) leaving me concerned and anxious all night, and mostly with a practice that called me at 7:00 at night to tell me there was "concerning news" and then canceled my appointments and provided no medical follow-up whatsoever. This not only irresponsible but also completely against the standard of care for a practicing physician. I am sharing this information in a review because no pregnant woman should have to be treated this way by a medical professional.

I’ve spoke to Michelle and she was of no help. Unfortunately sympathy is not something the comes easy to everyone. It’s a money hungry office so keep an eye on your eobs

I’ve been coming to Dr. D Brown for almost 6 years and he is very gentle and caring and has an amazing staff. Never a bad experience and he was just amazing with the delivery of my son and my care with having a very high risk pregnancy. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Incompetent/non empathetic office manager completely ruined my experience at this office. I recently was pregnant and originally declined when Dr. Brown asked if I wanted to add the genetic test to find the gender to my blood work script. I ended up calling back and I requested to have it added because I was going crazy not knowing. The nurse updated the script, I picked up new script and went to quest to get testing done. I knew that my insurance most likely would not cover the test and did my research that the test usually ran about $400 so I was prepared for it. Well come to find out months later, the nurse added three different genetic tests to the script at that time and I got a insane bill for $1700! When I asked the office manager to explain why she added three different tests she has been giving me the run around and basically saying it is was my responsibility to review the tests on the script and find out what my insurance covered. For someone not in the… medical field, I would have a better understanding trying to read Sanskrit then to understand the tests that were written on script. At the time being a hormonal, pregnant, working mother, I put my trust in my doctors/their employees to have my mine and the babies best interests at heart. A surprise/unneeded $1,700 dollar bill from the blood word testing facility was completely avoidable. This bill caused so much stress and you would think that being an OB office they would want to make things as easy and comfortable for their pregnant patients. I am so upset because I had an amazing experience with Dr Brown and Erin, but unfortunately office employees/office manager have ruined that.

I can not say enough good things about Dr Brown and staff. Most important I can tell how much cares about his patients. I’ll never go anywhere else!!

I had a great experience with the pregnancy of my first child thanks to the exceptional care provided by Dr. Brown and Erin Bagley! They truly take the time to listen to concerns and answer all questions! Their expertise is reassuring to a first time mom-to-be! Highly recommend!
