Dr. Earnest Edward Seiler III, MD

This guy will change your whole regime of meds after being in them for years for no apprentice reason. He belittles you and makes you feel like you’re an idiot . Poor excuse of a dr , but wouldn’t expect anything else from the V.A. .

Requested a simple medication refill, anxiety meds I’ve taken for years and was told I could have seizures if I just stopped taking it cold turkey. Had to go through this “mental health” Dr. as my primary care Dr. failed to renew my prescription, tell me why, and ultimately do her job. So this guy threatens me, stating because of medication in the past I won’t get painkillers after groin surgery coming up. Left the “psychiatrist” far more distraught than when I went in with nothing but wasted time to show for it. This guy is a turd who talks to people like they’re nothing. Not fit for the mental health field.

I've been seeing Dr.Seiler for four years now. He has always proven himself to be the most helpful and genuinely concerned Psychiatrist I've ever had. This includes those I have worked with over a 25 year period.

He saw me for agoraphobia and an eating disorder. Never bothered to ask if I had been traumatized or molested. Fired me abruptly, presumably for not getting better. Incredibly hurtful and made me NEVER seek mental help again.

He designated correct medication for my depression after I was incorrectly diagnosed many other doctors.

Best and most on top of his game psych in the business. I have never before had a doc go out, download information on subject matter related to me, bring it in and give it to me or even research medications that were not yet tested with pregnancies. Dr. Seiler is above and beyond anything I have ever experienced.

Dr. Seiler is the absolute best of the best. Have never met anyone as knowledgeable in psychopharmacology as he is and he is always able to explain everything so that I understand exactly what he is saying. Personable, funny, kind, compassionate--what can I say. Excellent. Sorry that he is closing his practice but feel very good that he is going to the VA to give our veteran the care they need and so deserve.

Absolutely the finest, most knowledgeable doctor I have ever encountered. Outstanding bedside manner. Medication management could not be better. Devastated that he is closing his practice!

His people skills and bedside manner needs work. But he really knows and will discuss with you the benefits of pharmacology and what is best for you. I really dislike that he doesn't give refills and I have to call every month for more meds. It adds to my anxiety every time which isn't good for my panic attacks.
