Dr. Edward Haass

Dr Haas is one of THE BEST doctors in Michigan. He has the best bed side manner that most doctors now a days know NOTHING about. If he is late for your appointment please understand it is because he actually takes time with his patients. I'm sure you think nothing of his other patients when he is taking his time with you so be patient and expect to be there an hour probably 2 hours for your appointment. Trust me, he is worth the wait! The staff in his office are also excellent and if you feel they were rude to you it's more than likely you were rude to them and upset that you had to wait. He is a busy doctor because he is one of the best.

Overbooking seems to be the norm. Patients wait for 1-2 hours before getting called back; then wait another 30-60 minutes in the room. My time is valuable. They need to train their office staff to schedule appointments better or they need to compensate patients for their wait time. Even though I like the doctor, I will be looking for someone else to take care of my needs.

Poor treatment in the office by staff and the doctor. Unprofessionalism at its finest. Tracy the receptionist is the rudest of all. The doctor was going to be late coming back from surgery one day and she told me to leave and go get myself something to eat instead of waiting in the waiting area. ??? WTH ???? I just had lunch before I got there. The doctor came in later and treated me very unprofessionally as well. He actually gave me a shot pushing the needle right into the wrist bone. It hurt so bad for days that I vowed to never go to a doctor that didn't even verify with the patient the conversation that happened. That same female employee keeps the office temp 80*+ when the doctor isn't there. She turns the heat to a more comfortable level just before the doctor gets in. It makes one wonder if he even has a clue how his employees that greet the patients treat the patients and his office? The only nice people there are the many student doctors that Dr Haass has in the office daily… to examine and pre-diagnose the patients before Dr Haass is available and the physical therapy employees. Overall rating is in the negatives for me. I will not give him or his office staff a positive rating. Maybe some training on how to properly treat humans is in order for the entire office staff, doctor included.

Dr. Haass would not believe that my thumb had a problem. He sent me to PT for 5 months and the therapist told him something was wrong and finally sent me for a MRI. Which said I had 2 torn ligaments and a healed fracture. He did surgery but it is no better than before I had it done. At my last visit I told him it wasn't right and he told me that "you're not 16 anymore ". I would not recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Haas is professional, friendly, and compassionate. He quickly determines a diagnosis and treatment plan. Takes time to explain things and communicates effectively to put the patient at ease.

I am so happy I was referred to this doctor , he has excellent bedside manners and he really cares about his patients.he takes his time and explains every thing to you. He is very easy to talk to and answers any questions that you have.I would recommend this doctor to everyone.definitely four stars !
