Dr. Edward Samuel Parelhoff, MD

Long wait at times, but worth it to see Dr. Parelhoff. He was born to work with kids! I marvel at someone who's dedicated his life to using his gifts to make such a difference.

Dr. Parelhoff was very patient with my child under 1 year. He diagnosed a rare condition and did an amazing strabismus surgery. I just did not like his personality and felt he was a bit condescending. If you like a confident doctor that will tell you what is best for your child then you'll love Dr. P. If you want to clearly understand the issues, feel a need to have your own understanding, do your own research and/or feel that you as a parent knows what is ultimately best for your child then you will likely clash with Dr. P.

My husband had strabismus and went to Dr Parelhoff when he was a child and now we take our 4 sons there, two of whom have eye issues. Dr P is the best, the best doctor, the best with kids and one of the very best in his field. Our boys love him! And my husband loves him as a kid. He performed surgery on our 2 year old and it went wonderfully. I highly reccomend Dr. Parelhoff!

Awful the lenght period of time I had to wait to be seen.

Dr. Ed Parelhoffs bedside manner was worse than quirky. Dr. Parelhoff spent the appointment criticizing his wife and son, which seemed unkind, and complaining about his staff, he was playing e-scrabble with. Why is an eye dr. playing scrabble at work anyway? Hearing this is not why we go to a doctor. At times he seemed like a Mr. Rogers, at times he was domineering and creepy. What I saw of Dr. Parelhoffs eye care results were the worst anywhere.
