Dr Fazel Kahn is amazing. He replaced my hip and my knee.. He worked through other health risks and totally prepared me for realistic results. Far exceeded expectations.. Doctor Kahn is the Best

Dr Kahn has been seeing my son for two years following the development of his Tumor. He takes his patients illness to heart He explains everything clearly and professionally. He has a great bedside manner. He did a 6 hour surgery on a rare medical condition. I highly recommend him.

If you are looking for an orthopedic surgeon - he's your man. Dr. Khan recently did extensive surgery on my husband's right hip/femur. What left an impression on me was his bedside manner. He did not rush us. He explained the surgery in layman's terms so we could understand. We were fully informed prior to the surgery what to expect. After the surgery he spent quite some time with our family explaining the procedure and answered any questions we had. He is a very compassionate physician which means a lot when you are dealing with oncology.

Received care through his work at the Northport VA and had two total knees replacements with a 14 month period. I'd committed to a daily pre-surgery stretching on my own for one month. And after surgery I immediately, on my own, began gently exercising both legs starting on my back in the hospital bed and more rigorously at home for two full months. I was in my 70s then and weighed 235 and despite those negatives was back in fit form and fully recovered at three months post-surgery. A great challenge and wonderful experience and Dr. Khan is the consummate professional and he LISTENS to the patient.

I am so pleased with my surgical experience. Besides his expertise,which is beyond compare,his demeanor and bedside manner is most assuring and comforting. I would strongly recommend Dr. Khan as a surgeon.

He is an excellent doctor couldn't ask for better.

Dr Kahn did my total rt hip replacement. Everything from start to finish was excellent! I am prone to infection, so at first he hesitated to do the surgery. He put me through many tests, making sure I wasn't carrying any infection before he would do the surgery. I totally respect him for that! At that point he left the decision to have the surgery up to me! My husband asked him "If this was your Mom what would you tell her to do?" He replied "I would tell her to prolong it as long as she could stand the pain!" After that he had me go for one more test. They injected an anesthetic into my hip joint. If the injection took my pain away (which it did) then we know the pain was coming from my hip. If it didn't, then we knew it could possibly be coming from my back, the docs needed to start looking elsewhere. They told me the injection MIGHT last 24 hours. Well, that injection lasted for almost 48hrs and it made me realize how much pain I was actually in. I walked in to Dr. Kahn's… office the next time having made the decision to definitely have the surgery! I'm not going to tell you the surgery didn't hurt, because it did. The first couple of days it was very painful, But, Dr Kahn and his staff are all right there to give you the medication you need to feel better. When you go home or to re-hab, do what they say, and keep doing it, It's the only way you will heal, WALK, WALK, WALK. That's the best thing for you! As for Dr. Kahn.. he is THE Best! He smiles constantly, and you will be able to tell right away...that;s for real! He's one of the good guys!

Dr. Fazel Khan is a great doctor. He took his time with me, explained to me the procedure and diagnosis in a way that I could understand. He has excellent bed side manner and I would recommend him to anyone. Dr. Khan made me feel extremely confident going into my surgery. " I can't praise him enough for how i feel now."
