Dr. Florenda Louise Fortner, MD

I have been with Dr. Fortner for 4 years. She is the best doctor I've ever had. As long as you are open and honest with her, she will treat you well and with respect. Her staff is first class and great people as well. All the negative reviews must be from dishonest or miserable people that will complain about anything.

Went one time...would never go back. No bedside manner whatsoever.

This dr. is smart. Yes she is busy but good doctors are. She will see you not a PA. So if you want an MD that is smart go see her.

I have been seeing this doctor for almost ten years right when she opened her practice. At first I thought she was a great doctor, she put me on several medication which some of them interacted with others. If it wasn’t for the pharmacy catching these interaction they could have hurt me. There were several missed diagnoses which one caused me a major surgery. Her office hours were minimal and if she was out of the office she would not return your phone calls or the answering service would tell u to go to the ER. Some of the office staff was great, there was a great abrupt turnover of the staff. She did not do rounds in the hospital would send in whoever the on call doctor was. I’ve had several serious hospitalizations and she was not there at those times I wish she was because she did no my history. After my last hospitalization I was abruptly discharged from her practice. There was no contact at all after that oh except for the discharge letter.

Very very "in your face and rude" prescribed a medication i asked a question. She tore up the script like a two year old throwing a tantrum saying "you shouldnt take it then" very very disappointed. Never again! No Way !!!

Dr. Fortner is amazing!!!! She is compassionate, and understanding. Dr. Fortner was able to address my concerns. She did not waste my time and was right to the point.

Asked one question, was dismissed from practice.

Was her patient for over three years. Saw her yell at and belittle other patients and staff many times but was usually nice to me -- until I questioned why she was ordering a test I'd never had before. Then became defensive and incensed and slammed the door as she left the room. Refused to speak to me several times when I tried to call after that. Very uncaring and unprofessional. Do not recommend.
