I wish I had read some of these reviews before putting myself in the hands of Dr Ennis and subsequently the ONS practice as a whole. My hip replacement has left me with significant pain, barely able to walk, in discomfort at all times one year later! Ok not every surgery is perfect but leaving me in a miserable state at age 57, refusing to acknowledge the terrible outcome was unforgivable. I saw 2 more surgeons in the practice hoping they’d fix the issue, recognize my pain and help me but I was met with crossed arms, zero compassion. I then realized they were protecting each other, preventing a lawsuit. The way I was treated was negligible. HSS is where I’ve turned to try to salvage my hip, and hopefully my life.

Beware. if surgery results are poor he'll have no backup plan. He'll abandon you. He has no interest in addressing surgery problems or correct poor outcomes. Do your homework. Go for big experienced hospitals like HSS

This doctor missed a significant hamstring tear that occurred when I fell and fractured my pelvis. Still in terrible pain and half my body swells each day from the injury site. I will most likely be stuck using a cane the rest of my life since this major injury was missed by this doctor and many others. My leg is now permanently damaged and it has limited function and terrible pain each day. Had this provider been through maybe the outcome would be different. Very disappointed with my experience with this doctor and this practice.

Dr. Ennis came highly recommended to me for total knee replacement, and I am only too happy now to pass my own recommendation on to others in need of TKR. Dr. Ennis is the consummate professional, an extremely knowledgeable surgeon, and a wonderfully reassuring individual. He and his capable staff at ONS made my TKR surgery seamless and positive from start to finish. Thank you. Lois Turel

I highly recommend Dr. Ennis. Very intelligent, courteous, highly skilled and professional. He did a great job on my knee replacement surgery six months ago. I am confident in my choice of surgeon. The hard work for the patient is the physical therapy after surgery. When it is time to do my other knee, Dr. Ennis will be my choice again.

After complain of discomfort for over one year after TKR I went to another doctor. He immediately told me my symptoms indicated that the piece Dr. Ennis put in was TOO big. I have to have it redone.

Very pleased with the experience at ons

Dr. Ennis was my elderly mother's surgeon when she broke her hip, and then again later, when she elected to replace both knees. Dr. Ennis is a brilliant and dedicated physician, and a humble man, who consistently demonstrated respect and compassion for my mother and my family. My mother achieved excellent results and the alleviation of pain while under his care. I unhesitatingly and highly recommend this very competent physician.

Dr. Ennis replaced my knee last year and I never recoved from my surgery. I had constant pain and swelling. I could barely bend my knee. I had the manipulation and then arthroscopic surgery (with a different doctor) to remove scar tissue and still no relief. After a year of physical theraphy my doctor said the only other thing to do was to replace the knee again. I went under surgery once again with my new doctor. I am 5 weeks out of surgery and feel great! The knee Dr. Ennis put in was too big for me. Very big mistake on his part. This should have never happen. Please, save yourself the trouble and do not use this doctor. He should have know better.
