Dr. Frank Joseph Rowan III, MD

I recently visited Dr. Rowan for a follow-up on my post-arthroscopic surgery on my left knee. The office staff was courteous and efficient, and I didn’t have to wait long past my appointment time. Dr. Rowan was thorough in reviewing my history and took time to explain the diagnosis and treatment options in a way that was easy to understand. What stood out most was their willingness to listen to my concerns and not rush the appointment. The recommended treatment plan has been effective so far, and I appreciate the conservative approach before jumping into anything more invasive.

My mother and I both have had hip replacements done by Dr Rowan. He did mine in 2012 and I was able to go back to work as soon as I was released to drive although he only wanted me to do desk work and no heavy lifting which I did office work so that wasn’t a problem. I was in excruciating pain all the way down my leg to my ankle, the nerves were all hurting so bad. Once the surgery was done, all that pain was immediately gone!! No pain from the surgery either. Amazing!! He did my surgery in 45 minutes ! I have not had a single problem with my hip since the surgery was done. He has given me cortisone injections in my knee and shoulder and neither time has never hurt. Dr Rowan is truly gifted !! I pray if I have to have another surgery that it happens before he retires. He certainly deserves his retirement but the field will lose its best for sure. He is thorough, has a great bedside manner, cares about your pain, a medical encyclopedia, gifted and one of the greatest is he’s a… Christian. Got to love him !!

Dr. Rowan and his team took excellent care of my injuries and genuinely listened to my needs and opinions concerning my treatment.

Dr Rowan did a great job with my knee surgery. he explained in details what to expect to my wife so she would know what to expect.

I received a referral from my sister, who he also performed her hip replacement surgery. Scheduling the appointment was fast and the scheduler was able to work with my availability. Dr. Rowan provided me with all the information needed along with the estimate of heal time and the physical therapy that will assist me getting back to work and being active. He also answered all my questions. I feel confident about his expertise and my husband did too.

Before seeing Dr. Rowan I was frustrated with a previous orthopedic. Dr. Rowan quickly explained my condition and treatment options better than anyone I’ve seen to date. I’m very happy I got to meet him.

Dr. Rowan is great and friendly. He took time to explain my issue though my case was simple.

My visit with Dr Rowan was great, as always. I started seeing him in 1996. 25 years ago he replaced both my knees. I still have them and they have never given me a problem. Last year he replaced my right hip. It’s fine, too. He is a fantastic doctor!!

A coworker recommended Dr. Rowan. He was easy to talk with, answered all my questions, explained everything to me, and put me at ease.
