I was checking in today so I could get bloodwork scheduled after surgery. That should be a fairly simple procedure but the orders couldn’t be done without an appointment to schedule them… yes I looked at my watch and it was 11:37 and I was 7 minutes late. So when Marley said do you know what time it is? Their clock said 11:40. She is a lovely lady, enforcing this crazy crap…. Dr. Salley refused to see me, I didn’t even need to see him-just get orders for blood work. In the last 10 days I have had TWO major surgeries on my back, I was 7 minutes late and he refused and said reschedule. I think it lacks compassion and if wanting to teach a sick person a lesson to be on time by having a person in pain reschedule well then that is just mean. I will never let him get anywhere close to me again. Check how crowded his parking lot I was …. Maybe he had a lunch date. Oh yes I have a picture of the parking lot… one truck with a guy sitting in it and appeared to be waiting to pick someone up.. he… was swamped"

Dr Salley is great! I had an annual physical exam with him and he spent a good amount of time with me. He asked lots of questions and listened to my concerns. During other past visits for minor illnesses and ailments he has also been generous with his time and is very thorough. His staff is also great!

I would never go back to this doctor. He gave me his opinion on a personal matter which I completely disagree with. He should keep his personal and irrelevant opinions to himself and focus on the problem at hand.

I had to see an on-call doc Monday as Dr. Salley wasn't in. That really opened my eyes to how exceptional he is. He did several different procedures on me today to make sure I received the best possible care. When the nurse took my blood pressure she did it the ol' fashioned (non-automatic) way. Since I had just had a painful experience in another doctor's office with the auto kind I mentioned how grateful I was to have the manual one used. What she said demonstrates everything I have been saying, " That's the way Dr. Salley wants it." He, once again, cares about his patients and their care and comfort!

Dr. Salley shows genuine care and concern for his patients and their maladies. He has been my family doctor for over 15 years and I would trust him with my life. He is smart, moral, ethical, and has a great sense of humor which is important to me. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Salley to anyone looking for a great family doctor.

Dr Salley is fine if you want traditional medical care in a clinic where you are a number. He is very nice but is not really open to non traditional treatments. After my appointment where we discussed diet, nutritional supplements and exercise as treatment for my high cholesterol and pre-diabetes, I had lab work done. He had his medical assistant call me when the results came back to say he was prescribing drugs instead of having me come back to discuss the results of the tests and a plan of care. My lab values had improved but were not within "normal limits" so therefore the standard response is "give her pills"! It was as if I had wasted my time talking to him about my individual care.

I would recomend Dr Salley to everyone. He listens well. He is honest,caring, and a gentle Christian man. He stands by his values and always spends time when you most need it. His care has literaly saved my life several times. Terrific family doctor and does great with kids.
