Dr. Frederick Charles Dolgin, MD

Dr Dolgin doesn't refused to see me 4 different times and wanted to do a Zoom call instead because he makes more money on them. I need a test that couldn't be done by computer. 0 would be a better score.

I've been using him for the past two years, and yes he has a rather matter-of-fact personality, but that doesn't bother me in the least. I wasnt looking for a tv doctor. I appreciate his approach esp when he told me I had become diabetic I got the feeling we were in this as a team, oh, and his nurse is the best. I'll continue to see him.

He indelicately handled a situation causing my father to storm out of the office and wander off angrily. Dr. Dolgin told my father, without ever having met him or even examining him, that he should no longer drive. Rather than trying to get at the root of the problem first, he decided to take my father's license away. Again, Dr. Dolgin never had a single appointment with my father. The young overzealous physician's assistant we met with told Dr. Dolgin that my dad's blood sugar was not under control, and rather than make time to examine him and try to address any potential psychiatric or medication issues, he wrote the DMV and recommended he lose his license. He then charged $50 to fill out the form required by the DMV, which was scribbled and barely legible. After getting the police to help find my dad that day, we went home never to return. Neither the physicians assistant who initiated the event nor Dr. Dolgin bothered to inquire about his well being. He did manage to bill… Medicare for follow-up appointments that never happened.

Dr. Dolgin takes time to listen to my symptoms and he explains the reason if he needs to send me for lab work. His staff is very courteous and will call ASAP to discuss lab results and if further tests are required to confirm his diagnosis. Dr. Dolgin is very professional and friendly.

Arrogant.

Two other physicians have commented to me that this man needs to go back to medical school. He misdiagnosed me twice indicating serious illnesses, and put me on inappropriate medications for five years.

Not only is he great his nurse Monica is wonderful!

He mis-diagnosed me and tried to put me on very serious medications based on that mis-diagnosis. I refused them. He is very arrogant about this mis-diagnosis and refuses to admit he was wrong. I have seen many drugs sales people in the lobby, so expect to be prescribed based on this. One of his colleagues saw me when Dolgin wasn't available and he prescribed a drug that the documentations say I shouldn't take (age issue). I had a strong allergy to this drug and I am permanently disable because of this. Stay away from Dolgin. The support staff at Flagler Family Medicine are excellent.

His lack of a proper diagnosis almost caused me to die of cancer. A year after his mis-diagnosis of a condition revealed cancer. Upon my follow-up visit he wasn't at all concerned with my condition. Appears arrogant and remarkably self-assured for an incompetent physician. He is more interested in growing his practice that any real concern for his patients. Look for some better alternative.
