Dr. Gary Quillen Casey, MD

Gary Q. Casey, M.D. graduated from Emory and Henry College in 1973 with a B.S. in Chemistry. He received his M.D. degree from the Medical College of Virginia in 1977. He completed a Family Practice Residency through East Tennessee State University in 1980. He has been board certified through the American Board of Family Practice since 1979. Presently, he is a member of the Sullivan County Medical Society and the Tennessee Medical Association.

Dr. Casey has served as Chief of the Medical Staff of Wellmont Holston Valley Hospital and as a past President of Mountain Region Family Medicine and the Kingsport Independent Physicians Association. He has served on the Wellmont Board of Directors and has chaired several quality assurance committees in the past. Currently he is on the Board of Highlands Physicians Incorporated.

Dr. Casey’s interests include skiing and tennis. He and his wife enjoy classical music and opera and attend and support events in the United States and abroad.
