I am triple board certified in - Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation: my goal is to help the patient restore function through nonsurgical interventions. - Neuromuscular Medicine: diagnosis of issues affecting the peripheral nervous system. - Electrodiagnostic medicine: use of electrodiagnostic equipment for the diagnosis of neuromuscular issues I am a full time employee in the VA New Jersey Healthcare System where I am honored to care for our nation's veterans. I do see nonveterans in my private practice on occasion. I actively teach residents and lecture at review courses. I became a doctor to help people in whatever way I can.

Fantastic Physician who takes interest and time to evaluate and make recommendations that incorporate minimal use of medication. There is a lead time for appointments but well worth the wait.

I am a patient of Dr. Maholtra. He is an absolutely thorough, calm, and informative specialist. He diagnosed my carpal tunnel syndrome, and my diabetic peripheral neuropathy. He explained the EMG test step by step which made it easy to handle. I just love the guy!

Dr. Malhotra is an excellent doctor. He is willing to spend as much time as necessary to speak with you and give you clear explanations about your diagnosis and treatment. He is young and seems to be up on the latest thinking as relates to back pain.
