Dr. Evan's is a very kind and considerate physician. I'm very pleased with him. There are very few kind and considerate doctors in the Shoals. Dr. Evans is one of those.

I called to schedule an appointment as a new patient, and I was treated with total disrespect. I was told by an employee that I spoke to that the paperwork had not been processed correctly and she continued to say that the office was a "friggin' zoo" and like an "animal kingdom that needed to be straightened out." I ultimately didn't ever get to see the doctor because the office staff was too incompetent to make the appointment. The lady I spoke to told me they would call me back within an hour, when I hadn't heard back in 3 hours, I called the office to confirm the appointment. She said they hadn't had enough time to finalize everything. 72 business hours later, I was called. They said I "hounded the staff by calling so frequently" that they didn't want to see me, and I was declined as a patient. Needless to say, after that run around, I really didn't want to see the doctor anyway....

Great dr. Never had an issue until after about 5 years of seeing him I get called for pill count while I'm out of town on Christmas and I ask nurse what can I do. She says one hour and that's it.. I love all the staff there I have an appointment in a few days who will bend.

The entire 4 years that I have seen Dr. Evans he has never listened to my heart, lungs. He has never ordered any blood work. He just comes in makes small talk and leaves. He has a very rude, and dismissive front office staff.

Dr. Evans has been my family doctor for over 30 years. He and his staff is very courteous, caring & honest. If anything with your body is abnormal he WILL find out what's going on. The only problem with his practice is he sometimes gives you too much attention during your office visit. He could probably spend a little less time with you but again, they're like family. He wants to know what's going on in your life. He really cares and so does his staff. What else could you want in a physician. His staff are great folks, though a bit overworked, they have always treated me with the utmost respect. They will not tolerate you being a jerk though and I don't blame them. They are always doing the best they can and just because you don't like to wait, that's not their fault. The wait is mostly due the the fact he is a very popular physician and has maxed out his patient load. I guess folks can just deal with it or get another Dr. God Bless Dr. Evans and his outstanding staff!
