Dr. George Shafik Sidhom, MD

Dr. Sidhom is the best Dr. in the world. I have been seeing him for 21 years due to my medical condition which does require frequent continued medical care. He has literally saved my life. Very professional, kind and caring both him and his staff. I would travel the world to see Dr. Sidhom if I had to. I couldn't begin to Thank both him and his staff for all they have done for me. The wait may be a bit long, but well worth it. I read in another review someone said it is all about money. This is far from true. I am a self pay patient and my last surgery I was charged less than 1/2 the price than having the surgery in the hospital as Dr. Sidhom has his own surgical building/office. He literally saved me near 20 thousand dollars. I also receive a fair discount ever time I go in the office. This is not all about money. This is about treating a patient fairly and giving that patient your 100% best care. I highly recommend Dr. Sidhom. He and his staff treat me like family.

Dr. Sidhom has been my Dr. and my wife’s Dr. for more than a year. He see’s us at his Brandon office. He is a very kind, caring person and excellent Dr. . He has given us much needed pain relief. His staff are also excellent. I have only talked on the phone with the folks at the other office but they have always been very friendly caring people too.

It’s all about the money not my kind of place

I've been a patient of dr sidhom for 18 months and every time I waited a minimum for 1 hour and up to 4 hours. My first injection was the third Appointment I waited 1 hour and the second I waited 2 hours and I was his first patient. There billing deptment is very poorly run and pay attention to your Bill's. There is at least15 -20 patients waiting to be seen at every visit. The dr has been late getting to the office every time I've been there.

I not only have a review about Dr Sidhom but his staff I shouldn’t say staff I should just say Gina The MA/ nurse ? she is the rudest worker I have ever come across. If you ask her question forget about it. And then she talks about you behind your back out loud were other patients can hear . She has been nothing but rude and I’ve been there five visits now . As for Dr Sidhom, The wait to see him in total in and out is about 4 hours .?? then he comes in and acts as cocky as I’ve ever seen a doctor do. He doesn’t listen to anything you have to say or how you’ve been doing. he doesn’t ask any questions ( unless it’s about getting an injection ) he just types on his computer . Seems to be that’s where they make all the money so they want you to get injections only, rather than giving you your regular pills. If I had a choice I would not be going to him I hate it every time I have to go .

My fiance and I went to see Dr Sidhom because we needed a new pain management doctor. Our previous doctor left to go to another practice that deals with sports' medicine - After waiting to see Dr Sidhom for 2 1/2 hours, I finally got to see him. Dr Sidhom refused to refill my medication that I had been taking for over 5 years. He has left us to deal with the horrors of withdrawal! I was very angry and upset and I left his office in a rage. He started yelling at me and threatened to call the police! As I was leaving, he told my fiance to leave and he refused to see her as she had an appointment as well. She did nothing to warrant that treatment by the Dr. Sidhom. She was just sitting there quietly waiting. He and his staff accused us from coming from a "Pill Mill" I feel he and his staff acted in a very unprofessional manner and I do not recommend him as a doctor, He has no compassion at all.

Dr. Sidhom is a kind and caring doctor who does his best to relieve your pain while still having to follow the government's strict rules regarding opiates. If there is a way to help you w/out pain meds. that's the route he will take first. Only downfall is he's extremely overbooked due to so many crooked pain mngmt. doctors being shut down and you have to wait for hours and then only get a few minutes with him.

After waiting forever I was greeted by several rude staff. The Dr told me things would be his way or there is the door. After his physical examination he proceeded to dissect my prior Physician as I just moved. Threatened to turn him in because he was a “pill mill”. Cut my medication by 75%. Offered medications but gave me no prescriptions. Ordered 25 xrays. The Dr proceeded to tell me “ my way or leave. I would never go back and told my primary not to refer to this pompous arrogant rude man!

I been to other pain management in spring hill Fl and all my shots given were useless always in lots of pain, taking meds afterwards to even try to walk, I change to Doc Sidhom about 3 years ago and I made the right decision, yes you have to wait ,but the result after you get your shots is worth it. I will never go back to others....
