Dr. George Thabit III, MD

Had shoulder surgery in 2017, and things are working great! He did an outstanding job, and if/when my other shoulder goes, he will be the first doctor I call.

Very thoughtful about scheduling got me right in for total ruptured quadracepts surgery.Really thought about everything including follow up appointments.I can actually run and use my leg .normally.Very pleased with outcome .Highly recommend Dr.Thabit..

He is super nice, until he gets your money, he doesn't try to even do a good job or even take extra time to remove any scar tissue... He rushed my surgery and didn't do a good job so i had to go else where to get another surgery done. The surgeon Dr king. Said he was shocked how bad of a job dr thabit had done. Dr. Thabit seems like a nice guy but really doesn't' care about his patients.

Awful! I would sue Thabit for malpractice if CA didn't have such harsh medical laws. I went in for an acl which he probably performed well but he also "added" a "micro fracture" procedure. This is when a dr. takes an ice-pick like tool, rams holes into your bone with it, and allows "bone marrow" to drip over the joint to "help" with arthritis. It was a procedure I would NEVER NEVER have consented to had I been given the choice. There was no emergency circumstances that necessitated it. He took it upon himself to make the decision for me. He said that there was absolutely no possible negative effects from doing the microfracture. Well, three years later my knee now gets immensely stiff after sitting for more than 20 min. Never had stiffness before this. A recent mri shows excessive scar tissue built up under the knee cap causing pressure. Hmmm. To boot, he was a jerk and got very defensive when I asked why I was never given the choice. Hope you get what you ask for if you use him.

Dr. Thabit evaluated my son after a severe episode when he was playing lacrosse. He had previous ACL repair and was injured again with extensive pain. Dr. Thabit reassured us that he had an injury that would heal without surgery. Gave options for pain relief, exercises for recovery, and the opportunity to see him again for follow-up. His expertise, care, and concern were exceptional. It was such a relief to have such an exceptional orthopedic surgeon give us the confidence that he would be ok and what the course of action was. I would highly recommend Dr. George Thabit, Orthopedic Surgeon, Waverly Clinic, Palo Alto/Redwood City

I had radial head surgery in 2007 and my arm is still 100% today. I would highly recommend Dr. Thabit and SOAR. He is an excellent surgeon with attentive follow up. He made sure I got in to see a fabulous physical therapist! He is a fantastic surgeon with a caring and funny bedside manner! :)
