Dr. Gerald Joseph Lang, MD

I owe my life to this man. I was in a motor vehicle crash in 2013 which left extensive trauma to my left leg/foot. Going into my first surgery, my mother had to sign an open ended OR release- meaning they may or may not have been able to save my mangled foot. Dr Lang and his staff did what they do best and pulled off the impossible. They saved my foot despite their uncertainties. Many surgeries, and nearly 6 years later I am living a fairly normal life. My foot will never be 100%, but that is not the point. With the extent of trauma, I am lucky I didn't lose it. I am forever grateful for this man, and have no idea what situation I would be in without his diligent effort to give me my life back. Thank you, Dr. Lang! You are a real life hero in my eyes!?

I am 33 years old, and I was involved in a scissor lift accident. The lift tipped over while I was 17' in the air. This accident shattered both of my ankles, and my left tibia and fibula. I was devastated! Dr. Lang not only performed an outstanding surgery, his follow up coaching has me up and walking only 2 1/2 months after the accident! I can't say thank you enough to Dr Lang and his staff!!!

Dr. Lang is a top-notch trauma surgeon. I was referred to him after an auto accident when I, as a pedestrian, was hit by a car causing a tibial plateau fracture. He communicated clearly what had happened to my leg, what he was going to do during surgery, and what to expect after. He was accurate at every point. Excellent doc!
