At 51, I had suffered from tonsilitis and strep throat (not to mention those awful tonsil stones) for most of my adult years. Yearly doses of antibiotics seemed to be the norm. After three episodes in one year, Dr. Alemar suggested a tonsilectomy. It is now over one year since the operation and I am happy to report that I have been free from any throat-related complications, best of all, no more rancid breath. An excellent doctor.

My youngest son had surgery this last Wednesday and I needed to take time to thank one of your finest surgeon Dr. Gilberto Alemar and his team.just wanted to express my thanks and appreciation for the wonderful treatment and care that he showed to my son following his surgery. Before we came into hospital for the operation, I was very nervous and daunted by the fear of the unknown but you were all so kind and reassuring when I arrived which took away a lot of my apprehension.You demonstrated your total commitment into caring for my son when he was helpless in the time immediately following his operation ( he is only 16 years old and he suffers from aspergers)Id like to particularly thank Dr. Alemar and his professionalism and caring heart . After a long day of surgeries my son was the last case , it was late and I am sure he was extremely tired but he had the kindness of reporting the outcome of the surgery with the sweetest smile ever. My husband had a septoplasty performed by Dr. Alemar in May. Everything went perfectly during and after the surgery. He had minimal bleeding. He has no more headaches that he had been suffering with and can breathe well for the first time in years. Dr. Alemar is kind and soft spoken. Seems to care about his patients and their outcomes. He has confidence in his skill, but not arrogance. Cleveland Clinic of Florida is first rate also.
